Welcome to this meditation for community self-healing.
So begin by just settling in with your breath,
Bringing attention to your inhale and your exhale.
Really becoming aware of the natural rhythm of your breath.
And as we draw our attention to our breath,
We can also bring our attention to each other,
Into the collective,
Into this community of energy,
Desiring healing.
Although we may not be in the same physical room and we may not be able to see each other,
But we can still feel the connection and know that we're not alone on this journey.
And at any moment we can connect to our breath and connect to the intention of our community.
And we can connect to source.
Imagine on your inhale,
You can bring in all this source energy and on your exhale,
You can send it throughout your body.
Together we can inhale and draw in all of this energy.
And on our exhale,
We can send it throughout our body or towards an area of need.
And we can sit together following this rhythm.
Sitting together with the intentions of healing,
With the intentions of showing up for ourselves and showing up for each other.
And as you inhale,
Feel that sensation of community.
And as you exhale,
Imagine you can send that to each other.
Maybe it helps to remember the feeling of a hug,
The feeling of being in presence with someone you love.
And know that we can develop this skill and use it at any moment in our day.
And at any moment we can choose to tune into our breath and tune into our community.
That we can be grateful for this simple gesture and that we can share it with others.
And we learn in this way that we can always be connected to source and we can always be connected to others simply by tuning into our breath.
Feel a wave of sensation on your inhale and then a wave of sensation on your exhale.
And then allowing your breath cycle to slowly elongate.
Maybe taking this time to improve your posture,
Allowing your spine to be long and straight and your shoulders back.
Making more space for breath.
And then letting those thoughts come up,
You can simply let them go.
Thanking them for their space and letting them float away.
Bringing your attention back to your breath.
Letting your body expand on your inhale and noticing sensations on your exhale.
Going together we can inhale and together we can exhale.
Holding our attention in this community meditation.
Helping us develop the skill of meditation and offering healing to our bodies,
To the bodies of each other,
To our planet.
Imagine with your inhale you can breathe in the sensations of love and on your exhale you can send them to where they're needed.
Knowing that it really is this simple,
We just tune into our breath.
Turning our awareness to the rhythm of our inhale and our exhale.
And holding our attention and the sensations within our body and the love for this community we've created.
Knowing wherever you are or whatever you are going through you don't have to do it alone.
You can tune into these energies of this supportive community and together we can help each other through.
Letting our awareness to the rhythm of our inhale and our exhale.
Inhaling all the sensations of gratitude for this community and then exhaling them,
Sending them throughout our bodies into each other.
Feel that as you send your energy out into the community you feel it coming back that much stronger from the love of everyone else.
Letting our awareness to the rhythm of our inhale and our exhale.
Noticing if your thoughts are still there.
Noticing if your thoughts have wandered and gently returning your attention to the rhythm of your breath.
Imagine you inhale love and as you exhale you can send that to yourself and the community.
You can inhale all the love from source and from your community and as you exhale feel a wave of healing soothe your body as the love extends out to the community.
Knowing now you have just developed a skill and at any moment throughout your day when you're feeling lost or alone or scared you can simply return your attention to your breath and feel back into this loving community energy.
Noticing the sensations in your body as it expands on your inhale and relaxes on your exhale.
Imagine your body opening up to receive on your inhale and soothing and energizing your whole being on your exhale.
Noticing your breath as it expands on your inhale and exhale.
We'll gently bring this practice to a close.
Thank you so much for showing up in this moment,
Showing up for yourself,
For this community.
I am so grateful to practice with all of you and even though I haven't met you I can feel your love and I am so grateful for it.
Thank you.
Thank you.
