We are here,
And it is now.
I'm Tiffany,
And this is a series of Radical Acceptance Affirmations based in Reality Therapy.
The goal is to develop a practice of radically accepting life at face value,
Without judgment,
To the best of our ability.
What is,
Is.
Not getting stuck in why,
Rather taking a pause and accepting right now.
If you often find yourself spinning about the future,
Or replaying your past,
These reality-based affirmations will help you find your now.
Wherever you are,
Settle in.
Take a deep breath all the way down into your tummy,
And hold.
Release the breath slowly and fully through your mouth.
I'm going to say a sentence,
And after I say it,
Please close your eyes and wait for the next direction.
The sentence is this,
I wonder what my next thought will be.
Now,
With your eyes closed,
Say the sentence,
I wonder what my next thought will be,
Silently inside your head.
Now repeat the sentence,
I wonder what my next thought will be.
And one last time,
I wonder what my next thought will be.
Now open your eyes,
And when you think the sentence,
I wonder what my next thought will be.
Do you feel the pause at the end of the sentence?
That pause is the liminal,
The space in between,
A space of pure peace,
And it is in that space that we begin.
I trust that everything happens for a reason,
And for my greatest good.
I radically accept reality at face value,
Without judgment,
Resistance,
Or conditions,
To the best of my ability.
I can choose to change my perception,
To change my world.
I honor my soul lesson plan.
I strive to radically accept people and meet them where they are.
I trust my gut instinct explicitly.
I believe my reality.
Control is an illusion.
All communication is a projection of the speaker,
Not a reflection of me.
Projection is never personal.
It is not normal to argue.
I can only be manipulated when I choose to engage.
I am responsible for meeting my own needs.
How I speak to myself and others matters.
Trying is the act of not doing.
Worry does not mean I care.
I am responsible to choose my feelings.
Rejection is a projection of me not choosing myself.
I take back my power by not blaming others for my feelings.
The only person I can expect something from is myself.
Jealousy is a projection of my own insecurities.
I cultivate the practice of achieving the space in between to give myself moments of peace.
I don't get to determine anyone's potential except my own.
Pain is a natural part of the human experience.
Dreams are my brain's way of self-processing.
My hell is shaped by my soul lesson plan.
I will die when I am done living.
I believe our souls are made of energy.
I move on to what's next rather than get stuck in the why.
I am here.
It is now.
My perception defines my reality.
Patterns in my life are indicators of my soul lesson plan.
My wisdom increases as my soul ages.
I honor my body's reactions rather than the story's ego writes around those reactions.
My struggles are the result of my argument with reality.
Surrender of control brings me peace.
Everything I say is a projection of me.
I remember what is said to me is a projection of my soul.
I am a reflection of the speaker's feelings about themselves.
I honor myself enough to refuse to be hooked into an argument.
I maintain my personal power by recognizing manipulation.
I can verbalize my wants and needs.
Words have power.
I do something or I don't.
Worry is fear dressed up in care's clothing.
I choose how I feel.
Rejection is not about me.
It is actually the other person choosing themselves.
Feeling triggered requires introspection of my unhealed wounds.
Once I give an expectation,
It is no longer mine.
Jealousy does not mean we care.
Practicing the pause gives me time to form a response rather than react.
I radically accept people as they are.
Getting hurt breaks our hearts open to make space for greater experiences.
Dreams are a part of a deeper universal processing system.
Hell is as unique as each person's soul lesson plan.
When we die,
Our lesson plan is complete.
Reincarnation is a transition for our soul to gather a new lesson plan.
Many blessings as you navigate this journey of reality.
And remember,
Be graceful with yourself.
After all,
We are human.
