Welcome,
I'm Teresa and I'm so glad you're here.
Let's take a moment to let yourself arrive.
Just as you are.
No need to prepare and no need to settle perfectly.
I invite you to notice your breath.
Moving in its own rhythm.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
And the feeling of your body.
Right here in this moment.
If it feels okay.
Allow your shoulders to soften slightly.
Your jaw.
Your face.
Your hands.
Your hips.
Not forcing anything,
Just inviting a little more space.
There may be something in your life right now that feels difficult.
Something uncertain.
Uncomfortable.
Or unresolved.
And in moments like this,
It can be really natural to move away from yourself.
To distract yourself.
To push through.
To overanalyze.
To try to fix or escape the feeling.
And if that's been happening for you,
That makes so much sense.
Your system is trying to help you feel safer in the ways that it learned to.
But just for this moment.
What if you can stay with yourself through this?
Not by forcing yourself to feel everything.
And not by going deeper than feels safe for you.
Just by not leaving.
Notice what happens in your body when you hear that.
What if you can stay with yourself through this?
There may be hesitation.
A part of you that isn't sure what it means to stay.
That part is welcome here.
You don't need to override it.
Staying with yourself can be very simple.
It might look like noticing your breath right now.
Or feeling your feet where they contact the ground.
Or placing a hand somewhere on your body and letting yourself feel the touch.
Not solving anything.
Not fixing anything.
Just staying.
You don't have to understand what's happening.
You don't have to make it better.
You don't have to move through it quickly.
What if being with yourself is already enough?
Even if there is discomfort.
Even if there is uncertainty.
You are still here.
And that matters.
Notice your breath again.
The steady rhythm of it.
Notice your body continuing to hold you.
What if you don't have to abandon yourself to get through this?
What if you can remain in small,
Gentle ways?
Have breath.
Moment of awareness.
A softening in your body.
That is how you stay.
Not all at once.
But moment by moment.
Let your body feel that,
Even just a little.
You don't have to do this perfectly.
You don't have to stay every second.
You can leave and come back.
And leave and come back.
Each time you return,
You are building something.
A quiet trust.
A steady presence.
With yourself.
And maybe just for now,
That is enough.
Let's stay here for a few slow,
Steady breaths.
Let's take one more breath together.
And gently coming back to the space around you.
Thank you for being here with me today.
And if this meditation supported you,
You're always welcome to share it or leave a review so it can reach someone else who might need this kind of space.
As you return to your day,
Remember as always,
You are loved.
You are whole.
You are enough.
