This is a spoken word offering for anyone who’s felt distant from their hope—who’s forgotten that softness, joy, and small light are still allowed to exist, even in hard seasons. It’s a reminder that hope doesn’t demand we bypass reality… it simply waits patiently for us to notice its quiet presence again. You don’t have to chase hope. You don’t have to earn it. Just let this be a soft place to rest. Thank you for listening. May this track bring you peace.

A love letter to hope for the ones who still believe in morning light.

Take a deep breath and another.

Let your shoulders soften.

Let your jaw unclench.

There's nothing you need to fix right now.

Just a few minutes to be with something soft.

This is a love letter to hope.

Maybe your hope.

Maybe the one you forgot you were allowed to have.

Let it find you if it wants to.

Hi,

Hope,

It's me again.

I know I don't always recognize you.

Sometimes you arrive in strange disguises,

Like a pause I didn't plan,

A craving for fresh air or the sudden urge to rearrange the furniture so the sun can spill in just a little better.

You live in tiny things,

Don't you?

The way warm sheets greet tired skin at the end of a long day,

The hum of the kettle when I forgot I even wanted tea,

The quiet clink of dishes in a kitchen that somehow makes the world feel a bit more manageable.

You're there when I remember the way my body sways to music before my mind catches up.

You slip in with the scent of lilacs in the spring,

The sparkle of streetlights after rain,

The unexpected laugh that escapes when I didn't think I had any left.

You've never asked me to ignore the hard things.

You've just reminded me they're not the only things.

You tug at the corner of my sleeve like a small child,

Asking me to come look.

And sometimes I do.

Sometimes I kneel down and listen,

And there you are,

Offering me wonder wrapped in simplicity.

Other times I turn away,

I close the blinds,

Busy myself,

Forget.

But you don't hold it against me.

You wait.

You whisper.

You bloom in the background like a daisy in the crack of a sidewalk until I remember how to see you again.

You live in the way people still reach for each other,

Even after heartbreak.

In the way dogs look at their humans like every walk is the best walk.

In the way trees keep blooming,

Even when no one's watching.

You are the thread in the dark.

The candle flicker in the storm.

The one who believes in me,

Even when I'm unsure I deserve it.

So this is just to say thank you for showing up in soft socks and gentle conversations.

In the clink of a spoon in a favorite mug.

In fresh notebooks and friendly strangers.

And the knowing glance of someone who's been there too.

You are not loud,

But you are real.

And I am listening now.

I am ready to walk with you again.

With love,

Me.

If hope feels far away today,

That's okay.

It knows how to find you in its own time.

You don't have to chase it.

You don't have to earn it.

You just have to remember it never stops believing in you.

Let this be enough for now.

And if nothing else,

Let this be a soft place to rest.

And always remember,

You are loved,

You are whole,

And you are enough.
