Anti-Black racism is the core wound of American culture, and we each have a role to play in fighting racism, a medicine to bring to these times. This talk explores how we can offer an honest and courageous presence to key domains of this suffering. We then look at affirming that Black lives truly matter with our dedicated and wise action.

Thank You, Tara, for this powerful, insightful, timely and healing message and practice of conscious awareness and compassion and responsibility. As a person of color who has had “the talk” with his son many times over - even now that he’s away at college - this talk resonated with me on a very, very deep level and on many aspects of both the parenting I received as a young child and my own parenting practices. I had to listen to this message twice -back to back - because it jolted me back to the reality of race relations in today’s America. As you noted in the message, as Faulkner pointed out: “The Past is never dead. It’s not even past.” I felt the call to action. Professor Davis is right: “In [our] racist society it’s not enough to be non-racist; we must be anti-racist.” Blessings of peace, understanding and love to you and all. #BLM
