Settle in,
Get comfy,
And take a couple of relaxed breaths before we start our journey together.
I want you to think about the word forgive and what it means to you.
Whether you are hoping to forgive someone else,
Maybe you need to forgive yourself,
Or perhaps you are looking for forgiveness for something.
Whatever it is,
I want you to take a moment now to identify what it is that needs forgiveness in your life.
Sometimes we make decisions from a state of fear or panic,
And we later regret those decisions or actions.
Sometimes others do the same.
We are the recipient of those actions.
What we need to remember is that when trying to forgive in any capacity,
We need to think about the freedom that we will feel once we truly forgive.
When we hold on to anger,
Regret,
Resentment,
Fear,
We are choosing to suffer.
By making the decision to move forward and forgive,
We are taking back a piece of our lives.
Perhaps you have suffered long enough in shame,
Guilt,
Or just other feelings of hurt,
Betrayal,
Rejection.
Today is the day to release it.
Today is the day to forgive.
To move forward.
To choose love.
Now ask yourself if you are truly ready to forgive.
And it's okay if you aren't.
You can revisit this at a later date.
This could simply be a seed being planted within your soul,
Knowing that it is okay to forgive.
If you are ready,
Then I ask you to let go,
To fully surrender all,
Everything that needs to be surrendered in order for you to forgive and move on.
Giving yourself a great big hug,
Giving yourself the support,
The love,
The compassion,
The understanding that maybe you were hoping to receive from someone else,
Maybe hoping to give to someone else,
Or for you to receive from yourself.
Squeezing yourself tightly,
Giving yourself that hug,
That reassurance that you are okay.
It is okay to forgive and move on.
This is a new moment.
This is a new path in your life.
It's time to take a step within it.
To move ahead.
To brighter days.
To love.
To forgiveness.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Let yourself feel the freedom,
The freedom of forgiveness.
Thank you for spending these moments with me.
Namaste.
Peace and awesomeness to you and yours.
