Welcome to this guided journey made especially for teens who may be struggling with anxiety,
Depression.
Or stressed out overall.
So I invite you to open your mind,
Just trust.
Just trust that this might help you.
This might help you to feel just a little bit better.
So closing down your eyes.
And relaxing as much as possible.
Getting comfy.
Whether you are seated or laying down.
Grab a blanket,
Get cozy,
Just like when you were a little kid snuggled up in your bed.
As comfy as possible.
And I want you to start by just noticing your breathing.
Just that relaxed natural breath.
Feeling the inhale.
And the exhale.
Just noticing.
Maybe slowing down that breath.
Breathing in a little bit deeper and letting that exhale lengthen.
And just letting your body enter that relaxed state.
Just that chill zone.
Knowing that you are safe.
You are protected and that this will only take a couple of moments and will help you.
So taking note of all areas of your body right now.
And making a conscious effort.
Too.
Just let go.
Release your muscles,
Drop your shoulders.
Maybe wiggle your body around just a little bit,
Signaling it to let go.
To release that tension.
Just breathing easily,
Nothing fancy.
Just letting your body relax.
Relax.
And as you breathe.
I want you to think.
That each inhale.
Is an infusion of healing.
And light.
And goodness.
And with each exhale.
You are letting go.
Letting go of worry letting go of pain.
Letting go of overthinking Letting go of fear,
Doubt.
Anger.
Sadness,
Just letting it be.
Leave.
Letting it leave your body.
And breathing in that beautiful healing light.
Love.
That support,
Everything that you crave.
That calm,
Balanced,
Happy,
Joyful,
Anything and everything.
That you wish you had right now.
You're bringing that in with every single inhale.
And this will continue.
You don't even have to think about it.
This will continue in the background.
Bringing in greatness,
Releasing heaviness.
And I want you to think about.
All day.
Of the beauty on this planet.
So maybe when.

Back to a time.
When you are really,
Really happy.
Think back to a time that you felt joy,
Love,
Peace,
Belonging.
There's no stress,
There's no pressure.
There were no worries at all.
Maybe you were a little kid and you can think of playing at the park.
Or sitting quietly at a table drawing.
Maybe you were building or playing with little cars.
Or maybe you were jumping around,
Splashing in a pool.
Maybe playing a sport.
Singing,
Dancing.
Anything that brought you joy.
Maybe you were building a fort.
In your living room out of chairs and blankets and pillows.
Maybe you were reading stories with a parent or loved one.
Maybe you're having a wrestling match with a sibling.
Are putting on a play.
For family members.
Or maybe it's mealtime or Christmas or some other holiday where you're with family or friends.
So just thinking about those feelings,
Something that brings those beautiful feelings of joy,
Love.
Laughter.
Fun.
Peace.
But I want you to think about your life right now.
And your struggles.
And recognizing that.
Maybe.
You can pull just a tiny piece.
Of fun,
Joy,
Laughter from the past forward.
Maybe you enjoyed.
Building things.
Out of blocks when you were a little kid.
So maybe you can.
.
.
Build something.
In your present life.
It doesn't have to be Lego or something childish.
Just want you to think of something in this current stage of your life that resembles what brought you so much joy as a kid.
Now I want you to see.
You can adapt it in some way and incorporate it in some way.
Just to give yourself a sliver of sunshine.
And you don't have to decide what it is now.
You can just let this simmer in your mind.
And when you are in your conscious waking the life.
You can perhaps notice some ideas that may pop up and incorporate those.
And so I want you to picture yourself now just as we are about to wrap up.
I first want you to picture yourself standing on a beautiful beach.
I want you to picture somewhere in Hawaii.
It doesn't matter if you haven't been there,
Just picture this perfect beach looking out on the ocean.
Standing under that Hawaiian sun.
And as you stand there,
I want you to feel the sun's rays.
All over your body.
Infusing you with light.
Love.
Joy.
Laughter.
I want you to know.
That you are able to receive all of the goodness that this world has to offer.
Giving yourself love and compassion for where you are right now.
Knowing that.
It's not permanent.
You will pull through.
You will find joy and laughter and fun once again.
So feeling this beautiful breeze from Hawaii.
This warm sun on your skin.
Feeling the sand between your toes and listening to the waves coming in.
I want you to wrap your arms around your physical body.
Giving yourself the biggest hug.
Knowing that you are capable of healing.
You are capable of loving.
No matter what has happened in the past.
This is a fresh moment,
A fresh start.
You get to choose.
Which direction you want to go.
Sending you love.
And healing.
Sending you hope.
Enjoy.
