It's time for sleep. Time to curl up and get cozy. And get ready. For a nice rest. So taking some relaxed breaths. Snuggling into your blanket. Just relaxing and releasing the day. Thinking about the beautiful sleep you're going to have tonight. And getting ready for a story. Sleepy story. This story. Is in the ocean. So I want you to picture yourself. As your very favorite ocean animal. So maybe you are a sea turtle or dolphin. Or a shark. Maybe you're a whale. Or a fish. Maybe an octopus. Or a little tiny shrimp. Whatever ocean animal you choose. I want you to. Picture it. Right now. See yourself becoming this ocean animal. As you picture yourself as this ocean animal. I want you to look around. Around. Surprised at your ability to breathe underwater. Knowing that this is only for this sleep story, Not for real life. When we're pretending. It works when we're in our human form. Won't work the same. We have to be very, Very aware. Of the water. So. In our story time. We are pretending that we are. Ocean animal. And I'm going to pretend to be a sea turtle. Swimming through the ocean, Maybe you can see me. Maybe we're swimming together. Looking at the other sea creatures. And just feeling that beautiful water as we swim through it, Warm, Relaxing. And we're safe. We are also invincible for this story. Nothing can eat us or hurt us. We have these protective. . . Barriers all around us. And as we swim. We say hello to the other being. Maybe we see a big whale. Wave. Or wink. Or maybe we move our little fins if we have fins. We keep swimming past an octopus, But I think we scared him a little bit because there's a big burst of ink as he swims away. Continue on our journey. Looking at a whole school of fish who seemed to be rushing by us. Next we see a great big shark. He doesn't see us because we have our invisible barrier. So we watch him swaying through the water, Rushing by, Perhaps after that school of fish. And so we keep swimming through the water until we see this beautiful underwater castle. We didn't even know there was such a thing as an underwater castle. So we swim right up and we swim inside and it is gigantic. Absolutely gigantic. It looks like a mansion above water. And it's bright and sparkly. It's like it's glistening sun. All the way under the water. So we swim through the different rooms. One of them has a big huge clam shell. That looks like a bed. And then we swim to another room and it has this big window that looks like a television, But you're looking out to the rest of the ocean. You're watching. All of the life through this window. Keep swimming around. There's another one that looks like a kitchen. There's yummy snacks in there. So we swim around until we find another one that's a big beautiful library. There are waterproof books and pictures and magazines. It's so cool. And all this swimming has made us tired. So we go back to that room that had that giant clamshell. We swim, Swim, Swim, And then we settle down into this clamshell that is so comfy, So cozy. Then we just feel ourselves relaxing after that day of swimming. Day of exploring and we're really happy that we found this big beautiful castle. With this wonderful clam bed. So we feel ourselves breathing slowly sinking into a really deep state of relaxation. Closing our eyes. Drifting off. Yes. For a nice long rest. Sweet dreams.
