Hello,

My name is Tess from The Big Heart Journey and I want to welcome you to this before bed heart hug meditation.

So I want to invite you to find a comfortable space.

I'd love to just lie down in bed for this one.

And of course,

We're going to start by putting our hands on our hearts and just feeling your own heartbeat.

That heart that is with you every single moment you get to be here on this planet.

That heart that beats all day long,

All night long.

I love to think that every time our heart beats,

It's saying,

I love you.

I love you.

I love you.

Just sit a minute with this beating heart.

Breathe in.

And as you breathe out,

Imagine sinking deeper into whatever surface you're on right now.

Just noticing what's happening for you now.

Is there anything from your day that you wish to breathe out to leave here in this space?

To free from your body,

Any feelings,

Any moments that are taking up space in your brain and your heart.

Perhaps it will serve you better to leave them for tomorrow,

If they're still there.

Just noticing where you're at.

Sitting with any feelings that are there from the day.

Noticing them,

Being with them.

And as you breathe,

Imagine releasing them on your breath.

Moving them to a different space.

And as you breathe and move them out,

Imagine your body sinking down.

A little deeper.

Just getting a little heavier.

Coming back to that heartbeat.

Is there a moment from your day that made your heart grow,

That made your heart feel expansive and loved and loving and grateful and present?

What's one moment from the day that you can pull into your heart right now?

I like to imagine this as taking a little Polaroid picture of some moment in your day that was really special.

And pulling that in and putting it into a little photo album that lives in your heart.

What picture will you put in there today?

And as you breathe,

Sink deeper into the surface that you are on.

Whenever I work with the kids,

I always tell them that there are messages in the stars.

And that each star has a message that's special just for them.

So I want to invite you to think about the stars above you.

The moon.

Imagine that there's a star with a special message for you.

What's something that you need to hear right now?

If you were to open a star and receive a message from another galaxy,

From a little light shining above you,

What message would you get?

And as you breathe,

Pulling that message into your heart to live with the picture from your day.

And sinking down a little deeper into the surface that you are on.

And as we close our time together,

I just want to invite you to do one more thing.

I love doing this before I go to bed,

But just put a little smile on your face.

Imagine your lips turning upwards.

Filled with a lightness,

Just a little sprinkle of joy for your sleep.

And as you breathe in,

And you sink heavier into the surface that you are on,

You are also filled with a lightness and a joy.

And a little message from a star above,

And a little picture from your day.

Wishing you a beautiful sleep with lots of happy dreams.
