I'm Susanna.
And the intention of this video is to help you heal the experience of heartbreak.
Tapping,
I've found,
Is a really kind way to offer ourselves comfort in the midst of heartbreak.
And heartbreak is a subject that I feel like I know pretty well,
I've been through,
Like I'm sure you may have,
A number of instances of it over and over in this lifetime.
And in fact,
Something that I love that I came across one time,
A quote,
It went something like this.
It said,
Do not lament the broken heart,
For it's only when your heart has been broken open that God can pull the whole universe into it.
And so I see the experience of heartbreak as kind of a conditioning.
To our connecting more deeply with the truth of who we are and coming home to ourselves and source.
As we begin this session i'd love you to just put your hands over your own heart And maybe just close your eyes,
Tune within.
Feel the warmth of your hands here.
And connect with your own personal experience of heartbreak.
Whatever is causing you to suffer,
If it's the loss of a loved one,
Perhaps,
Or the breakup of a relationship.
The loss of a dream.
And just ask yourself in this moment on a scale of zero to 10,
How intense is the suffering?
This experience of heartbreak.
And it may be accompanied by all sorts of feelings.
It could be.
.
.
Grief and sadness.
It could be rage,
Anger.
It could be a sense of hopelessness.
So just notice as you tune into this.
Pay attention to it Okay.
So let's take a breath to start with.
Release it.
And come to the karate chop point and we say even though I'm experiencing this intense heartbreak.
And you're welcome to speak the story of what it's related to for you.
About let's say the end of this relationship.
I choose to deeply accept myself.
And shower myself.
With the love that I deserve.
Even though I'm feeling so heartbroken.
And it's no wonder.
Off to what I've been moving through.
I forgive myself.
For the heartbreak.
And I forgive the intensity of emotion.
Moving through.
I have every right to feel this way.
Let's stay here for a moment.
We also say,
And I would like to forgive.
Anything or anyone else.
Who has contributed?
To this heartbreak.
And here I make the distinction,
I'm not saying you can forgive,
Perhaps if there's a person involved who you feel has wronged you.
Don't have to forgive that person but just planting the seed to be open to forgiveness helps to energetically clear your system and set you free to live something new.
And let's say even though.
This experience of heartbreak is so challenging for me.
I call in the deepest healing.
For my energetic heart and my physical heart.
And I choose to experience.
Peace.
And freedom now.
Good,
Take a breath Let's go to the eyebrow point,
We say.
This experience of heartbreak.
And now really tune into the emotion for you.
What is the emotion?
I feel.
So overwhelmed or I feel so upset.
I feel betrayed.
I feel angry.
What is it for you?
All of this emotion around this heartbreak.
Deep grief.
Anxiety.
So intense.
This story of suffering behind my heartbreak.
Why is the density here?
As a human being so hard to bear at times.
Nice deep breaths.
This overwhelming feeling of heartbreak.
I feel so hurt.
Maybe it's abandonment.
I feel so abandoned,
Wounded.
Supporting myself to clear this experience.
Of overwhelming heartbreak through my energy system.
I'm ready to remember.
The wholeness of my heart and come home to that unconditional.
Love.
That sacred space.
Within my chest.
Where I can feel comfort and peace.
Good.
And let's do that now.
So take a deep breath with me.
Release it.
And just close down your eyes for a moment.
Again,
Put your hands over your heart.
And just feel into your experience.
What do you notice here?
Offering yourself love and comfort.
Through the warmth of your hands over your heart space.
Just noticing too if that first round of tapping brought down the intensity.
Of the experience of heartbreak.
When you're ready,
Just opening your eyes.
And let's do another round.
I'm going to imagine that possibly that experience of heartbreak may have shifted a little bit.
I want to suggest also that as we're doing this work if you're somebody who has been worried about heart health,
For instance,
Perhaps you have In your family,
You know,
A tradition of heart disease.
Or you've been diagnosed with something,
It's so important that we clear the field,
The energy field,
To allow for the body's own healing mechanisms to be freed up to bring balance to our physical heart,
Not just our heart energy space.
And to open up a space also for us to love more fully and freely again.
You know,
Oftentimes heartbreak just shuts down the heart into that place where it feels so tight to take in love because this is not very good at receptivity whereas the open heart space is ready to receive and give love So let's go back to the karate chop point.
You might check in and ask yourself on a scale of zero to 10.
How intense the experience of heartbreak feels in this moment and let's just tune in here and we say tapping even though I'm still experiencing this heartbreak.
And at times it's so great it scares me.
I choose to deeply and completely.
Love and accept myself now.
Even though the intensity of this heartbreak has felt at times too much to bear.
And I'm still feeling it now.
I'd like to forgive.
Myself and anything.
As well as the story of suffering.
That has locked this heartbreak experience.
Into my energy system and shut down my heart.
Even though my heart has felt shut down and broken.
And I feel like I didn't have any say in the matter.
I'm ready to softly open my heart again.
To fill it first with my own love.
And the love of the Divine.
And to begin to welcome that exchange.
Of giving and receiving love.
With people,
With animals.
With nature.
So that my heart energy comes back into balance.
So that my heartbreak experience heals.
And so that I can live with a fully resilient.
Love-filled heart for the rest of my days.
Take a nourishing breath and offer it to your heart.
Ah,
Releasing the old,
The stories,
The heartbreak,
The suffering.
Now,
I'd love you to tune into that story of suffering that has kept you in the experience of heartbreak as we go through this round.
Just say this intense heartbreak I've been moving through.
And all of the emotion.
That I've been experiencing.
Just name the emotion,
The predominant emotion or emotions out loud for me.
This grief,
Anger,
Guilt,
Shame.
What is it for you?
Connected with this heartbreak.
Releasing anything I'm carrying energetically.
That is blocking the flow of my heart energy.
I am so ready to live with a full,
Open heart.
Ready to clear out the old blockages stories of suffering Stories of victimhood,
Stories of being so let down,
Deceived,
Betrayed,
Abandoned.
What is it?
Speak it out loud what it is for you.
And then just breathe it out,
Releasing it,
Letting go.
It's not yours to carry I open to a complete reconditioning of my heart space now.
Where God or spirit can pour the whole universe.
Into my heart.
And it can overflow with unconditional love.
Beautiful healing energy.
Let's just enter the stillness for a moment.
Breathing softly,
