We begin our journey as joy itself, rooted in the stillness of pure being. Yet as language takes hold, that vibrant strawberry of life seems to slip away, casting us into a relentless search for what we feel we have lost. But the fruit hasn’t vanished; it hasn’t gone anywhere at all. It remains perfectly intact, quietly waiting just beneath the heavy canopy of our words, beliefs, and concepts.

Hello there,

Welcome back.

When we're infants.

Just this open space of wonder and joy.

Any parent can see that about their infant.

And the reason being is that to give it a word.

Their natural presence,

Just their a sense of being.

That's all there is.

There's no mind.

This is a sense of being,

Pure being or presence.

Mind is not even on the scene yet.

It's back here but as we begin to use language.

And engage with the world.

Mind starts to come on board,

Starts to develop and it needs to obviously,

We need to have a good mind.

And slowly slowly what happens is the identification that wasn't here actually was.

The infant isn't identified with pure being,

It's just pure being.

And that's the joy and the wonder.

The ease.

That immediacy.

You see in the eyes of an infant or an animal.

Slowly as begin to develop language me mine peter sally whatever You daddy mummy.

Mind start to Dominate.

That's what happens.

Mind starts to come to the foreground and would become identified with dot.

And from then on,

We take our identity,

We spend most of our time living in thought.

Let me give you another metaphor then we're going to get direct.

Imagine we're given a strawberry.

We're infants and this strawberry just looking at the strawberry you can tell it's delicious can't you it's just like wow And each day we bite into this strawberry as an infant and it's just.

.

.

Luscious.

It represents just life.

The strawberry.

Now what happens?

Is from about the age of two-ish.

Slightly different with each person we start to develop language again so what we do we get a microscopic piece of cling film or cling wrap and put it on strawberry.

Every day we put a microscopic amount.

Piece of cling film or cling wrap.

Onto that straw,

But we can't see it.

It's too small for the eye to see,

But it's there.

And by the time we're a teenager,

This strawberry.

.

.

Is completely wrapped up.

Cling wrap cling film.

And we'll bite into it.

Luciousness God.

It's not gone anywhere.

The strawberry is still there.

It's pure being.

Now the strawberry represents pure being.

It hasn't gone anywhere,

But we go searching for it.

Off we go.

Start searching for the strawberries.

But we are the strawberry.

It's not gone anywhere.

Up what we taste.

What we experience are the concepts,

The words,

The language.

That's why life,

As you get older,

Appears to be dull in there.

What's it all about,

What's the meaning of my life,

What's my purpose,

All that.

And so we see the world through concepts.

And a concept can't experience anything.

A concept can't experience the joy of life.

Like a lens it's like a well cling film like a clear lens What we're doing.

Is seeing through this conceptualization for what it is.

We don't go anywhere,

We don't try to develop anything.

And this conceptualizing,

These thoughts are telling us there's something missing.

So off we go searching for the strawberry,

Human being.

The Wrap,

The Wrapping represents language.

So right now let's go direct.

What's here without language?

Who are you without language?

Go direct.

That's where we go we go to that which I've mentioned before and Some of these sessions guys would be repetitive because the message is very simple.

It's not entertainment.

This is not loads of information.

Information,

Information,

Information.

You can read all the books in the world about this.

It won't make any difference.

It's just words.

Read between the lines.

Read between the words,

Listen between the words,

Feel between the words.

That silence,

That stillness,

That.

.

.

Then take those words away.

They're just pointers.

Don't get hung upon them.

What are you?

Who are you?

Without language.

Take away the word ME.

How are you?

See there's nothing to understand.

All you need for these sessions with me,

At least,

Is enough English.

To understand what I'm saying.

Was it not eternity?

It's not about an understanding.

This is the piece.

Peace that passeth understanding.

And I just doing exactly the same as you I just spend time in that wordless in that I may stay quietly in the morning for 10 minutes.

I don't do long meditations anymore.

We don't need it.

You don't need to meditate,

If you meditate great,

But remember that one thing.

Do not try to attain anything.

The strawberry is already here.

Or just looking at it through.

Klingfilm.

The Klingrap.

So we think it's,

That's not much.

It reveals itself.

As we spend time there.

To spend time here.

What's between here and not here?

Go direct.

Well,

Think about it.

To silence.

The mind you know the mind may come up with a a word,

A description and just put that to one side.

Go to the wordless.

Something.

Something.

Between something and nothing.

Just sit there,

Just there.

Do it when you're walking the dog when you're doing the washing up.

What's that that can't be thought about?

What's happening prior to thought.

Quite a lot,

Really.

So the strawberry is already here.

It's no good going searching for it,

You won't find it You can't grasp this.

We shed beliefs that this is not it because that's what the mind is doing the mind is telling you that this is not it how can this be it when i've got an aching hip this is not the wonder of life this is not the joy of being this is not enlightenment Everything is it.

You still want it?

Would you still want that?

We want it on our terms.

You have to get out of the way.

Get out of the way.

Go on,

Get out the way.

And let's go direct one last time for this session.

What's here before a thought?

Silence,

Silence.

That's all you need to do.

A familiarity.

Starts to develop.

Even that's saying too much actually.

Forget what I said.

It's not in the words.

Before I finish then.

Reading between the lines.

What's between the lines?

It's the paper,

What it's written on.

You take those words off the paper and the paper is still there.

The PIP is always there.

You can write wiggly lines on it.

The paper is still there.

Could say.

You could stretch it that's better That's this.

It's always here.

Everything appears in it.

On it,

Is it?

It's not separate from it.

Know that is saying too much so I'm going to go It's very tempting.

OK,

Thank you.

Bye bye.
