Good morning,
Good afternoon,
Good evening.
Then start off with a poem.
Stopped turning away by Dennis Warren.
Stop turning away.
Connect with your experience.
Face the unpleasant what you don't want to see no more excuses,
No more complaining,
No more blaming.
No one is going to save you from your own intentions,
Thoughts,
Decisions and actions.
Now it's up to you to be skillful or unskillful,
To point your attention towards clarity,
Balance and peace.
Or towards confusion,
Struggle and dissatisfaction.
The compass always points inwards.
This is what we normally do some form of on a Wednesday.
If there's anything uncomfortable,
Well,
The idea is that we do that every day.
Whatever's here,
Just experience it.
Just give it space.
Just feel it.
It gets too much of course,
Just take a break.
But we're not listening to the mind,
What the mind says about it.
That's what we're often doing.
Not quite realising it.
So it's always a very simple practice.
I want to say is point the attention towards clarity and balance.
It doesn't mean that we have to feel good to do that.
We don't wait to feel good.
If your life is all about feeling good,
You're going to find this difficult.
Because this is meeting everything.
It's really,
In my view,
And you may disagree,
Others may disagree.
And I don't mean this particular way that I share this approach.
But in some way,
Shape or form you've got to go through it.
Just meet life.
And that's all I'm doing.
I'm just doing exactly the same as you.
Exactly the same.
Some days are harder than others.
Some days I'm all over the place,
Other days I seem to be fairly here.
Sometimes people piss me off.
Oh,
You could say I just piss myself off,
Which is the way it is,
Isn't it?
Or I just don't do it like I used to.
That's the only difference.
The troughs are not quite as deep.
The shorter.
There is more ease.
So let's turn.
.
.
Towards.
Balance.
It's already here.
Balance and clarity.
That may include a sensation that you're finding a little bit unpleasant Just feel it.
Start off with the mantra if you wish,
Shahrim.
Shari.
To help to balance things up.
To steady the nervous system.
Then you may,
If you're ready,
Drop the mantra.
Be a little curious,
What's going on?
What wants your attention?
What does it feel like?
Give it space.
Don't turn away.
Is not something obvious.
Is this an issue in your life at the moment?
Bring it to mind.
And you'll feel it in the body.
Maybe there's something in the background.
The oval.
And kind of.
.
.
On easiness.
That it reveals itself.
Checking that you are relaxed.
Soft.
What does it feel like?
The most obvious qualities,
Heavy,
Dance.
Whatever.
How do you feel towards it?
Let's be honest,
He wanted to go away.
Are you doing it so that it will go away?
Is let it be.
Nor gender.
And carry on with this particular work.
Practice,
I mean just relax the attention.
Drop into the body more generally.
Listen to the sounds.
Really just experiencing life.
Not your own story about life.
What's happening?
Checking that you are relaxed.
.
.
Not lost in mind.
If you are,
It's okay.
If you listen to the traffic or feel the breath.
Okay,
That brings us to the end of the session.
Thank you guys.
