Welcome to today's talk,
Unlock Abundance.
I remember when I first started executive coaching,
Coaching people who had millions of dollars,
Wealthy people.
And I remember the feelings of fear.
That they experience the fear of death.
Losing potentially all that they had.
That there still wasn't enough?
That they still had more to achieve,
To accomplish.
And it struck me that no matter how much we have,
We can still be left with this feeling of not enough.
This feeling of being afraid that we won't have for tomorrow or the future.
What is abundance really about?
Today we hear a lot of people who talk about manifesting abundance.
Having abundance in their lives.
It's important to take time to meditate on this word,
Abundance.
And to start defining what it means to you.
What is abundance?
Mean to you.
We can define abundance in a number of ways.
The feeling of having more than enough that we're so blessed that we can continue to give from a cup that feels overflowing.
You can talk about an abundance of time,
Resources,
Health,
Abundance of opportunities,
Financial opportunities,
Creativity.
There are so many ways that we could be abundant,
Abundant with our energy,
Our attention.
When I've meditated on this word,
It makes me feel the sense of freedom.
When you're abundant,
You feel gracious,
Generous,
That it's easy to give because you know that you'll receive in this natural cycle of life.
And there's a sense of joy and freedom that's connected to the feeling of abundance that you can do what you want,
When you want,
In any way that you want to.
That abundance of being able to act from your intuition.
And it feels very freeing.
Abundance is a state of consciousness.
A way of being.
We can in any moment.
Snap back into that survival mode,
That fear.
There's not going to be enough.
There's not enough.
And be in that scarcity mentality.
Or we can just become aware when we're there.
And gently remind ourselves of being in the moment.
Something you'll notice is that.
When you're not abundant and you're not feeling abundant,
More than likely you're really stuck in your head.
You're stuck in thought patterns and stories and things that you're telling yourself and these familiar feelings of compression,
That there's not enough.
So really,
It's just in the moment.
That when we become aware,
We can tap in.
To this abundance.
Mindset.
It's a feeling of.
.
.
Being secure.
And happy.
Fulfilled,
Satisfied,
Content in your life.
It has nothing to do so much as,
Well,
Yes,
The material things affect our wellbeing,
But it's not everything.
Abundance is also connected to our sense of purpose,
Our joy,
Our feelings of connection with ourselves and each other.
Think about the times when you've felt truly abundant and full of life and joy,
Satisfaction,
What was happening during that time?
What were you experiencing?
Abundance feels a lot like love,
Love overflowing,
That there's a plethora and abundance and infinite source.
That we're connected to.
And the energy of abundance feels so much like untold.
Conditional love.
And this is a state that we can cultivate within ourselves by practicing gratitude every day,
By remembering our generous spirit and the generous spirit of life and all the many ways that we receive,
Even our breath.
The ability to walk,
The ability to move,
To speak,
All of these things that we are abundantly gifted with.
And it's the way we choose to focus our attention.
Abundance is connected to our root chakra which is located at our perineum near the base of our spine.
And this chakra energy wheel that flows life force energy light,
Information.
That is related to our sense of security.
So our ability to feel rooted,
Connected,
Like we belong in the world.
And that we can make things happen in the physical world.
This is our root chakra being rooted,
Grounded,
Connected with physical reality.
With Mother Earth.
If our root chakra is imbalanced,
We can feel unstable.
We can often have a lot of doubts and feelings of instability,
Insecurity,
Not feeling safe.
And from this,
We can have a lot of anxious feelings related to worries about the future.
Am I going to have enough?
Is there going to be enough?
Can I provide for myself?
Having these deep concerns and fears and that it's hard to feel grounded,
Like you're really here.
You're embodied.
That's a sign of imbalance.
When you don't feel quite embodied,
You feel spacey,
You feel disassociated,
And it's difficult.
To feel motivated and to make things happen.
This can manifest as anything that is located in the lower half of your body.
And again,
This is not medical advice,
But it can be related to lower back pain,
Digestion,
Pain in your hips,
Reproductive organs,
And this is how imbalance can show up in the root chakra.
You may experience financial instability or difficulty manifesting abundance in your life.
And it's often signified by the color red.
Interestingly here,
It looks more pink in the presentation,
But the root chakra is signified by the color red.
And for those of you who have been following.
The new and expanded chakra system that I've been sharing.
Actually,
You can.
Begin to tune into colors that really work for you and your chakra system because these colors were perceived over 5,
000 years ago and there may be other colors that resonate more deeply with you that help you to tap in.
Now red is a color that.
Is subconsciously in our collective more of an alert.
And stop energy.
So we have stop signs,
We've got the stop light,
In feng shui they use red to stop the flow of energy.
It's an alarm and alert system,
Flashing red light,
Something's wrong,
Something's wrong.
So to have ease in this part of your body and to visualize this bright red color,
It might not work well for you.
It might not feel like a relaxing,
Soft,
Nurturing energy,
In which case you can play with other colors to see what helps you feel comfortable.
And safe.
In this part of your body.
Other ways that you can begin to balance your root chakra is by grounding in nature.
Spending time with trees,
With your feet barefoot on the earth,
Near the ocean or a lake.
Just being in nature is very grounding,
Receiving the healing resonance and vibration from nature.
It's important to take time to reflect on your true needs and concerns in your life.
Like I said,
Having coached people with Lots and lots of money.
It was clear that feelings of abundance weren't there.
Directly necessarily correlated to how much money was in their bank account.
So it's important to have a reality check and to say.
I have enough today.
I'm okay.
And to know.
How much you actually need.
To be well,
And to feel safe,
To have food and shelter,
And your basic needs taken care of.
And what that means to you and then what your concerns are.
Are your fears,
Your worries,
Your concerns valid and healthy and real?
Or are they possibly distorted?
If you grew up really poor,
Maybe you just always felt poor.
And you didn't know what it was like to feel.
Rich,
Rich in life.
And so making sure that your feelings and your actual state are up to date in the present moment.
And are really connected is a healthy way to assess.
What's really happening in your life and how you feel.
So we might have distorted concerns about our future because we might've had a trauma in our past.
And it's just important to keep this in check.
So there's other ways to balance the root chakra,
Visualization,
Sound.
You can even use silent internal sounds to open up the space,
Visualizing that spinning chakra,
Multidimensional,
Any color that feels good for you,
Opening the flow and being connected to the root chakras that are connected below your root chakra.
So all of the many chakras that extend into the earth,
Also from your feet,
And you can also practice energy healing.
Using your intention to move energy in this part of your body.
So you'll notice,
Especially with our hips and that groin area,
That there's this unconscious holding pattern.
Even now,
If you just check in and notice the areas of your hips,
See what it's like to just take a breath and relax through the hips,
The base of your spine,
The whole groin area.
There is room to open up and relax in this part of your body,
In this part of your being,
And notice how it affects the rest of your body.
When this feels open and relaxed and secure.
Abundance is very much connected to our resilience.
When we're abundant,
We are resilient.
There is more than enough.
We know that things are okay,
That I'm okay,
And that I will be provided for.
I can take care of myself.
I can provide for myself.
And when we're connected to the state of receiving and giving graciousness,
Generosity,
It opens up our channel.
And it opens up our ability to be resilient.
In life.
It's our capacity.
To be centered or capacity to feel abundant and compassionate.
Even when things Don't go our way.
When our expectations aren't met,
When people let us down,
When bad things happen,
We're still connected to this inner state of abundance.
We don't shrink or shut down,
Close off.
We choose to stay open.
We choose to.
See what have I learned?
And we choose to connect.
So abundance is really deeply connected to our ability to be resilient to stress and the stressors of life.
Again,
Here is a diagram of a multi-dimensional circular formation that represents also what our chakras can look like.
Very complex,
Intricate,
Like a divine flower mandala with many points.
So when one part of this beautiful formation is damaged or starts absorbing energy from outside,
Influences,
Then it can affect our own well-being.
So it's important to keep our energy system.
Clear and balanced.
It's one of the best ways that we can practice inner hygiene for ourselves and mental clarity is to keep our energy system clean and clear,
Flowing.
And to know when we may have picked up energy,
Our collective consciousness really resonates at a low level for the root chakra,
Especially in the West.
The West,
We have,
Are probably one of the richest nations in the world,
Yet people feel starved spiritually and also inwardly.
Like,
There is a lot of fear.
In our collective.
That there might not be enough.
And so it manifests as hoarding and greed and more profit and more money and more,
You know,
So much grasping for more,
Which turns into a dis-ease.
It's really a disease.
And so it really has to do collectively with this mindset that there's just not enough.
And we've got to care for ourselves and really know for ourselves what is enough.
So that we don't feel pulled and distorted by.
This unreal fear that we can stay on point,
We can stay on purpose,
We can confidently go in the direction that we're being moved in and not because we're being overwhelmed by these collective feelings of fear.
Or even our neighbor's feeling of fear,
A friend or our mom or our dad.
Their feelings of fear.
So it's really important to know how to read your own energy and chakra system.
This is just a reminder of,
You know,
The flow of life and to use imagery,
Elements,
Anything that helps you to feel like you can move.
That there is flow that's there and grace.
So this is water.
Water is an element that is so nourishing and nurturing.
I love to use water as an element to clear energies,
To be soothed.
And perhaps this can be a reminder to you when you're going through your own healing.
As something that can really help you balance your energy and remember your wholeness.
Thank you so much for learning about abundance.
Unlocking your true abundance.
And balancing your root chakra.
