I believe that opening minds and hearts to the benefits of a mindfulness practice is a welcome and significant benefit to the human experience. Mindfulness belongs to one component of how we work to improve our lives and deal with the stresses and challenges of life. These mindful practices should always complement the skills and expertise that modern medicine, therapy and technology have to offer us.

The mind,

The heart,

The body.

A return to wholeness.

The mind,

The heart,

The body are but one energy system,

Connecting us to a wider reality.

Let's experience the three parts that make up a whole.

The mind.

The mind produces thoughts.

You have the power to use your mind as you want.

You,

The awareness,

You have the power to control your mind and intellect.

Through a mindfulness practice you learn to observe thoughts.

By being alert and in the present moment through the practice of focused attention you start to use the mind well.

You start to transform your world and transform yourself.

Your thoughts create your reality.

Become the observer of your thoughts.

Let the thoughts flow past you and through you without attaching to them.

Allow the fluctuations of the mind to settle and embrace the stillness.

Be still.

Take your attention to your breath and relax.

Breathe and relax.

Thoughts will come.

Acknowledge them and let them float on by.

Take your attention to your breath and relax.

Breathe and relax,

Letting the thoughts float on by and embrace the stillness of the mind.

Breathing in and out.

And now we move our attention to the heart.

The heart is so much more than a pump.

Your heart is your emotional center and creates feelings,

Emotions and sensations in the body.

It is the seat of your inner wisdom.

The more you are aware of your feelings and identify what you are really feeling,

The greater will be your capacity to improve your inner dialogue.

With a gentle practice you can have a heart of light and a sense of freedom.

Listen to your heart.

Bring your attention to your heart and feel the life force flowing through.

Bring your shoulders slightly back and expand your heart space.

Open up the heart space.

Breathe and relax.

Your attention is on your heart.

Feel the life force flowing through.

Feel the beat of your heart.

Breathe and relax.

And we let that go and we bring our attention to the body.

You have a wonderful body that carries you through life.

It's always sending out message of comfort or discomfort,

Ease or dis-ease.

Listen to the signs and with awareness consider making lifestyle choices that nourish and nurture your body and lift your energy.

Listen to your body.

Does it feel well?

Is it comfortable or is it sending out messages?

Eat signs of tension and consciously breathe into the space and relax.

Breathe and relax.

Listen to your body.

You feel a sense of comfort within your body.

Breathe and relax.

Now become aware of that return to wholeness,

The mind connecting with the heart and the connection of the body.

One energy system which connects us to a wider reality,

A return to wholeness.
