This gentle sleep-onset meditation is designed to help you unwind and drift naturally into sleep. A soft guiding voice invites the body to relax and the mind to settle. As the meditation comes to a close, the voice gradually fades, while over 8 hours of continuous, soothing music remains, supporting deep, uninterrupted rest throughout the night. There is nothing you need to do, and no need to stay awake. If sleep arrives early, simply allow it. Get comfortable, lower the volume, and let the night hold you.

Welcome,

I'm so glad you're here.

If you're listening to this,

There's nowhere else you need to go and nothing else you need to do.

This time is for rest.

We're letting the day gently loosen its grip on you.

As we begin,

Know this.

This track will stay with you through the night.

While my voice will slowly fade away,

The music will continue,

Softly holding the space as you sleep.

You don't need to stay awake for any part of this.

Simply rest.

Let your attention drift to the gentle rhythm of your breathing.

No need to change it.

Just noticing the inhale and the natural,

Unforced release of the exhale.

With each breath out,

Imagine the body quietly softening.

The muscles of the face relax.

The forehead smooths.

The jaw unclenches.

The tongue rests comfortably.

The shoulders release downward as if the weight of the day is finally being set aside.

Nothing to hold,

Nothing to manage.

Now allow this sense of ease to move slowly through the body.

The arms grow heavy and warm.

Elbows resting.

Hands soft.

Fingers uncurling.

The chest rises and falls with ease.

The heart beating its own calm rhythm.

The belly softens.

No effort needed.

No control required.

Awareness drifts through the hips,

The thighs,

Knees,

Calves,

All the way to the feet,

To the tips of the toes.

The whole body now resting,

Supported and free to let go.

Thoughts may still appear.

That's okay.

You don't need to follow them or make them stop.

Imagine each thought like a cloud in a dark night sky,

Passing through and dissolving on its own.

There is nothing that needs your attention right now.

Nothing that needs solving.

The music will stay with you,

Steady and continuous,

Allowing your mind to rest even as sleep deepens.

As my voice begins to fade,

The music remains,

Gently accompanying you through the night.

You may already feel yourself drifting,

Floating somewhere between waking and sleeping.

Allow yourself to sink a little deeper with each breath,

Knowing you are supported,

Held and safe.
