Now bring your focus to your breath,
The gentle rise and fall of your chest.

Visualize a soft golden light at the top of your head.
With each inhale this light flows down,
Warming your forehead,
Your cheeks and your neck.
It spreads to your shoulders,
Your arms and your torso,
Dissolving tension as it moves.
As you exhale imagine any stress or worry flowing out of your body,
Carried away by the light.
Picture yourself in a serene place,
A quiet beach at sunrise,
A peaceful meadow or a calm forest.
Hear the gentle sounds around you.
It could be waves lapping,
Leaves rustling or birds singing.
Let this peaceful scene fill you completely,
Bringing a sense of safety and relaxation with every breath.
Now let's shift your attention to your heart center.
Feel your heart,
Feel its gentle steady rhythm.
Repeat after me,
I am worthy of love,
Respect and kindness.
Imagine a soft radiant pink light glowing in your chest,
Expanding outward with every inhale.
Feel it warming your entire body,
Filling you with compassion and appreciation for yourself.
Visualize moments in your life where you felt proud,
Confident or loved.
Perhaps a moment when you were treated with kindness or you treated someone else with kindness.
Let the feelings of joy and self-respect grow stronger as you relive them.
See yourself standing tall,
Glowing with self-assurance,
Surrounded by a supportive,
Loving energy.
Know that you are deserving of care,
Kindness and respect,
Both from others and yourself.
Now gently bring to mind any emotional pain,
Old wounds or past experiences you wish to release.

Visualize a soft soothing blue light enveloping the areas where you feel pain or tension.
Imagine this light gently penetrating each layer,
Dissolving heaviness and bringing calm and repair.
See yourself in a safe,
Nurturing place,
Perhaps a quiet garden,
A sunlit glade or beside a flowing river or perhaps inside a beautiful house in a cozy and comfortable room.
Picture any lingering pain being carried away either by water or by the wind and watch it gently fade off into the distance until you can no longer see it.
Feel your heart growing lighter,
More open as the blue light fills the spaces once occupied by hurt,
Leaving peace,
Hope and renewal in its place.
Take a few more deep breaths.
Inhale calm,
Exhale tension.
Bring your awareness back to your body,
Feeling grounded and at ease.
