Hello dear friend,
I'm Stephanie and welcome to the start of another day.
As we prepare to embrace this morning and the day,
Go ahead and take just a few moments while you're still in bed to simply breathe in and breathe out.
As the awareness begins to awaken the body,
Breathing in and breathing out.
And very gently reaching the arms overhead,
Stretching from fingertips to toes,
Open the mouth and yawn,
Taking all of that breath in and exhaling as you gently bring those arms back down by the sides of your body.
And then bring your awareness into the hands,
Wiggling the fingers,
Gently and easily moving each finger.
And then take the little finger and place the pad of the little finger on the pad of the thumb with complete awareness of the finger touching the thumb.
And now the ring finger touching the thumb.
And the middle finger.
Feel the pad of the middle finger touching the pad of the thumb.
And now the index finger.
Gently repeating little finger,
Ring finger,
Middle finger,
Index finger.
Once again,
Little finger to the thumb,
Ring finger,
Middle finger and index finger.
And then gently reach those fingers all the way out,
Stretching,
Opening up through the chest,
Through the lungs,
Taking in yet another nice full breath and release.
Bring your awareness now to the toes and wiggle the toes,
Feeling the freedom and the movement.
And then gently circling the ankles,
Rotating around and around.
And reverse,
Turning those ankles around in the opposite direction,
Rotating around.
And then once again,
Arms overhead,
Opening the mouth to yawn,
Stretching and elongating the whole body.
And then simply bring those knees up towards the chest and roll slowly to your side.
As we take a moment on the side,
You can bring your hands up underneath your head as you lay there,
Feeling the whole body beginning to wake up to the start of a new day,
New adventures.
And gently begin to let the eyelids flutter,
Taking in the morning light,
Taking in the peacefulness.
And gently take a smile to the face,
Bringing in an overall sense of happiness and joy.
And when you're ready,
Come to a seated position.
And once again,
Breathe in and breathe out,
Shoulders relaxing,
Facial features softening.
And ready to take on another day.
As always,
Wishing you only the best of health.
