Dear friend.
I'm Stephanie,
And I invite you to take the next few moments just for yourself to find a comfortable place to release and to relax.
Let's begin by finding either a chair that you can sit in or a cushion on the floor to sit on,
Or even if you choose to lie down,
A space that is quiet and that is comfortable.
And slowly turn inward,
Listening to your own breathing pattern.
Don't try to change or adjust,
But just listen to where you are right now at this moment in this time.
The inhale and the exhale.
And within each breath,
Feel that air is circulating throughout the whole body.
If there's any area that might be sore or tense or tight,
Take a moment to breathe into that area and allow each breath to exhale,
Taking with it any of that pain,
Discomfort,
And allow it to leave the body.
Take a moment,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Noticing where you are physically in this moment.
And then let's begin by unclenching the teeth so that you relax the mouth and the jaw.
And let your body acknowledge that release.
Gently release through the shoulders,
Letting those shoulders relax,
Flowing down through the arms and releasing any tightness in the chest or the abdomen.
Let that breath circulate through the spine,
Through every vertebra.
And imagine that you're releasing through the hips and the tops of the legs,
To the knees,
The ankles,
The toes,
So that you can then,
As the body's relaxing,
Allow yourself to turn inward and gently releasing for a moment,
Giving yourself the time to connect from within,
To give back to yourself,
To your body,
To your brain,
And allowing a sense of peacefulness and calm to wash over.
And let's begin by acknowledging how wonderful you are and how deserving you are to give this time to yourself.
And as you inhale,
Imagine that you're saying,
I,
And on the exhale,
Am,
And then begin to place descriptive words afterwards.
I am beautiful.
I am relaxed.
I am peaceful.
I am special.
I am calm.
I am calm.
Continuing for the next few moments to give back to yourself the recognition that you deserve of your calmness,
Peacefulness,
And your specialness.
And very gently let those words resonate from within.
You are special and you are unique.
And you deserve this time for yourself to give back to your body,
To simply be present,
And to find the calm from within.
