My name is Stephanie.
And today I just wanted to do a very short and sweet meditation.
This is a great meditation for anyone who's feeling the chaos of the week,
The day,
The month.
And just needs to feel regrounded in their body.
I think it's really important to remember that our bodies are,
They go everywhere with us and they are our homes in this life.
So it's really important that we establish that they are a place of safety for us.
So I really hope that this practice finds you well if you're really needing it.
I'm thinking of you or if,
Yeah,
You're just looking for a way to be in gratitude for your body and reconnecting with your body.
This is also very helpful for that.
So we'll go ahead and get started.
Um,
You can do this practice while walking as well.
But yeah,
I invite you to just find that space now,
Whether you're sitting,
Walking,
Standing,
Laying down,
Wherever that may be.
And I want to invite you to just take a deep breath in through your nose.
And let it go.
And another deep breath in.
And let it go.
And as you take another deep breath in,
Just feel the air going through your nose.
And out your mouth.
And as you return to your normal breathing,
I want you to take a quick look at the back of your hands and your palms,
Front of your hands.
Take a moment to just study all the different lines.
Different geography of your hand.
Or your feet.
And as you look at your hands or your feet that are moving,
I want you to.
.
.
Try and visualize the bones that make up your hand.
Picture each joint and how it bends.
And now I want you to.
.
.
Just imagine that within your hands there are all these tiny little veins that are working to get blood to your hands.
So that they can move and bend.
If you're looking at your feet,
Same thing.
Just think of all the intelligence that has to happen.
For your hands to move,
For your feet to move.
Just think of how your body.
Doesn't really need to be told how to function,
How to be.
It just is.
It just holds you.
Maybe you use your hands to type.
To write,
To drive.
To hold and touch the people that you love.
Maybe you have pets that you love to pet.
Just think of all the amazing places that your hands have gone.
All the things that they do daily without being asked to.
Perhaps your feet take you to point A to point B every day.
And then in the summer,
They can feel the sand beneath them,
The grass.
The ocean,
The rivers,
The lakes.
Everything that you have witnessed in this life.
Your body was there.
Every challenge,
But also every beautiful moment.
Your body has been there.
And I'd like to remind you that your body.
Is your constant.
It's a constant miracle.
Beautiful vessel.
For this lifetime that you are here on earth,
That you are an earth being.
This body holds that truth through you.
It is deeply connected with the earth,
Which means you are never alone.
Your body is with you.
It carries you.
And your body will breathe.
And your body will find rest again.
And peace.
This moment of seemingly chaos,
Unending chaos.
It will end.
It will pass.
And just as we go out into the earth,
Into the world,
And we admire the beauty of the earth all around us.
The sunset.
The ocean,
The trees.
That is our body.
Our body is connected to all of that.
To that deep intelligence,
To that beauty.
And we are always with our body.
Which means we are always connected.
We are never alone.
You're always being carried.
Whenever you feel lost today or throughout the week or the months,
Just.
.
.
Take a moment to look at your body.
Give it thanks.
Let yourself be reminded that it supports you and it's here for you.
I hope this grounding meditation helped you just kind of come home into your body again to remind you that you yourself are a miracle and that this will pass.
That your body will be here for you.
Always.
We'll go ahead and end this practice.
But I hope that it found you well.
And that it's a practice that you can come back to whenever you need it.
Thank you so much for being here today and sharing this space with me.
I'll see you soon.
