Give attention to what is working and create mantras that reflect how you want to feel, and what you want to have. A practice like this is life-changing and freeing! Note: This meditation is for all experience levels. The first half guides you into a desired state of being, while the second half provides an opportunity for you to practice unguided.

Welcome.

My name is Jessica Amos.

I am founder of Stay With Yourself.

Today's mantra meditation will be focusing on abundance and gratitude.

But first,

Let's start with a short relaxation and breathing practice.

Wherever you are,

Whatever you are doing,

Make yourself comfortable.

And where your body can be supported by your seat.

If you can,

Plant both feet firmly on the floor and leave your hands resting gently in your lap.

You can also sit with your hands facing downward on your knees for a more internal and reflective posture.

Or you can sit with your hands facing upward for a more open and receptive posture.

Feel your spine tall and upright.

Tuck your chin slightly and allow your heart space in the front of your body to soften and open as the back of your body is supported and upright.

You can feel your hips relax.

Drop your shoulders down and back.

Allow yourself to be here now.

Feel the edges of your body,

Yourself here in this space,

Fully contained,

Present in your beingness.

And bring awareness to your breath.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

In through your nose.

Out through your mouth.

One more deep breath in through your nose.

Out through your mouth.

Continue breathing this way.

Breathe deeply all the way down into your tummy.

Imagine your tummy is an empty balloon being filled with air.

And when you exhale,

Imagine your tummy softening and releasing tension.

You can do the same by breathing into your neck and shoulders.

Deep breath in,

Expand,

Exhale,

Release tension.

Breathe into your hips,

Let them go.

Breathe up into your face,

Your skull,

Your brain,

Filling with air,

Releasing tension and relaxing on the exhale.

Here you are where you ought to be.

There's nowhere else to go.

There's nothing else to do.

It is said that having a gratitude practice and focusing on one's abundance is one of the most life changing practices that we can engage in.

The mind does not know the difference between reality and perceived reality.

What you think and what you believe in your mind often becomes your reality in your physical world,

In your body,

In your heart,

In your emotions.

And the good news is you get to choose what you focus on.

You get to direct your thoughts and your mind.

Focusing on your abundance and having a gratitude practice even when you don't feel grateful necessarily is still highly valuable and life changing.

It reroutes your neurological pathways.

It gives you a new perspective.

It provides freedom and a sense of wellbeing deep within your heart,

Mind,

Body and soul.

So let's take time now to focus on our abundance and our gratitude for all that we have.

Again,

You do not have to feel grateful or feel abundant to have a gratitude practice.

If you're in a place where you feel comfortable repeating after me,

I encourage you to do so or just listen along and take in these statements.

Thank you,

Dear breath,

For always being present,

For giving me fresh air to breathe,

For giving me life and vitality.

Thank you,

Dear heart,

For always being present,

For beating for me and only me in the present moment.

Thank you for the life-giving energy of each pulse,

For always being here for me and keeping me alive.

Thank you,

Dear body,

Arms,

Legs,

Back,

Hips,

Torso,

Neck,

Shoulders.

Face,

Brain,

Ears,

Feet,

Hands and all my internal organs.

For always being here for me,

For being here for me from the moment I was born to right now.

Thank you for supporting me.

Thank you for doing my bidding.

Thank you for doing your best to heal when you are injured or hurt.

Thank you,

Dear body,

For communicating with me when something isn't quite right and giving me a chance always to take care of you.

Thank you,

Breath,

Heart and body.

Thank you,

Dear brain,

For trying so hard always to figure out what's going on,

To think,

To help me form words within my mouth.

Thank you,

Dear mouth and tongue,

For the sounds I am able to make,

Dear ears for the sounds I am able to hear,

Dear eyes for what I can see,

Dear skin for what I can touch,

Dear nose that I might breathe and smell the beautiful flowers in springtime.

Thank you,

Dear self,

For always doing the best that you could with what you understood at the time,

For showing up,

For trying new things,

For being on this journey of self-discovery,

Awakening and consciousness.

Thank you,

Dear soul and dear heart,

For connecting me deeply with my empathy,

My emotions,

My sensing and perceiving of others in the world around me.

Thank you,

Dear intuition and instinct,

For constantly showing up and guiding me in giving me the opportunity to trust.

Thank you,

Dear life force and all that surrounds me,

For fresh running water,

For a roof over my head,

For warm clothing,

For electricity.

Thank you,

For a bed to sleep in at night.

Thank you for the sun,

Even when it's cloudy,

Rainy and cold and I can't see it.

Thank you for the sun,

Even when it is hot and sweltering and I can't stand it.

Thank you,

Dear nature,

For your presence and your invitation to always be present,

To be like a tree or like a flower,

To be the sky,

To be the ocean,

To be one with presence,

With beingness,

To see my own true nature reflected back to me in nature itself.

Thank you,

Dear beautiful world,

For providing all I need,

For food that grows up out of the earth that I might feed myself and nourish this miracle of a body.

Thank you,

All of life,

For supporting me and providing for my needs.

I am abundant.

I have everything I need.

I am loved.

I am enough.

I am valuable and worthy of respect,

Kindness and love.

I am abundant.

I have all that I need.

I am enough.

My life is enough.

I am taken care of physically,

Mentally,

Emotionally and spiritually.

I am on my own side.

I have my own back.

I am an authority on my own life and my own experiences.

I can heal myself.

I do heal myself.

I am love.

I am light.

I am one with all.

I came into this world good.

I was born good.

I am good,

Deep in my heart.

And I always will be.

I came into this world enough.

I am enough and always will be enough,

Not for what I do,

But because I am.

I am loved.

I came into this world as love.

I continue to be love.

And when I leave this earth,

I will leave as love,

As light,

As goodness,

As kindness.

I am enough.

I am abundant.

I have all that I need.

Here I am as I ought to be,

Nowhere to go,

Nothing to prove,

Enough,

Abundant,

Grateful for all that I have.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Take a deep breath in.

Exhale.

Feel yourself alive,

Whole,

Complete,

Abundant,

Cared for,

Supported,

Always.

I will leave you here with a couple minutes of soft music so you can meditate on your own and utter your own gratitudes in statements of abundance.

Thank you for sharing your meditation practice with me today.

May you stay with yourself today and always.

Thank you.

.

Powerful. What a perspective shift. How is it possible to feel so much in such a short amount of time? The power of thoughtful words, images, and our own capabilities never cease to leave me awestruck. Thank you, Jessica.
