Welcome to the Daily Insight.
My name is Jessica Amis.
I am founder of Stay With Yourself and teacher here on Insight Timer.
Today's meditation focuses on gratitude and abundance through mantra and affirmation.
First let's start with a short relaxation and breathing practice.
Wherever you are,
Whatever you are doing,
Get comfortable in your seat.
Plant your feet firmly on the floor.
Feel your spine tall and upright.
And with the back of your body supported by your spine,
Allow your heart space to soften and open.
You can sit with your hands gently resting in your lap.
You can set your hands downward on your knees for a more internal and reflective posture.
Or you can turn your hands facing upward for a more open and receptive posture.
Whatever feels best for you,
Allow the front of your body to relax as the back of your body is supported.
And bring awareness to your breath.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Out through your mouth.
In through your nose,
Deep into your tummy,
Out through your mouth.
In through your nose,
Feel your tummy expanding.
Out through your mouth,
Feel your tummy softening and releasing tension.
Continue breathing deeply into your body this way.
Breathe into your neck and shoulders,
Releasing tension on the exhale.
Breathe deeply into your hips,
Releasing tension on the exhale.
Drop your chin slightly.
Breathe all the way up the back of your neck and into your brain,
Bringing oxygen and clarity to your mind.
Release tension in your face.
Here you are,
Where you ought to be.
Nowhere else to go,
Nothing else to do.
It is said that when you focus on abundance and gratitude,
Your life will change in phenomenal ways.
You get to choose your thoughts and what you focus on in life.
You don't have to feel grateful.
You do not have to feel abundant in order to have a gratitude and abundance practice.
So as I speak these affirmations and mantras,
I encourage you just to receive,
To repeat them to yourself silently or out loud.
And let this be an invitation for abundance,
A feeling of abundance,
A deep connection to abundance for yourself and in your life.
Thank you dear breath for this oxygen,
This fresh air,
For being present and breathing for me in every moment that I might stay alive.
Thank you dear breath.
Thank you dear heart for beating for me in the present moment,
For fueling my body,
Pumping blood through my veins,
And just like breath,
Keeping me alive.
Thank you dear heart.
Thank you dear body for always being here in the present moment as a grounding point so when I get caught up in thoughts and ruminations,
I can always come back and feel you here in this place and in this moment receiving and being.
Dear body who always supports me,
Loves me through presence.
Dear body who heals itself when it is sick or injured.
Thank you.
Dear body who allows me to walk and run,
To hug and hold the ones I love,
To feel and cry,
To laugh and shout.
Thank you dear body for always being here for me from the very beginning until the very end.
Thank you for your friendship,
For your presence,
For your loyalty.
Thank you dear body for always speaking to me when something doesn't feel quite right and giving me the opportunity to listen.
I am abundant and I have all that I need.
Thank you for running water.
Thank you for electricity.
Thank you for clothing to keep me warm.
Thank you for a roof over my head.
Thank you for fresh fruits and vegetables.
Thank you for my morning coffee,
My evening glass of wine.
Thank you dear self for always being here for me.
Dear intuition for always guiding me and speaking to me.
Dear heart and soul for always guiding me on a path of joy and inviting me to trust and to allow and to listen.
I am here and I am listening.
I am abundant and I have all that I need.
I am enough.
I always have been and always will be.
I am valuable and worthy of love.
I always have been and always will be.
I am abundant and I have all that I need.
Thank you for all that I have.
Thank you that I am enough and I am supported.
I am taken care of and I am seen.
Thank you.
I am abundant and I have all that I need.
Here I am where I ought to be in the present moment.
I can be nowhere else but here now.
Thank you.
Thank you present moment for being enough,
For always being here now.
Thank you for sharing your meditation practice with me today.
May you stay with yourself today and always.
