Welcome to today's Evolve Meditation.
In this meditation,
We're going to go and reconnect to the divine beings that are always guiding us.
And this is for those moments when you might be feeling lost or you're feeling stuck or you're not exactly sure which way to turn.
So the first thing I want you to do is close your eyes,
Get comfortable in a seated position,
Or you can feel free to lie down.
And you're going to start to pay attention to your breath.
Paying attention as you inhale as deeply into your abdomen as you can.
And as that breath turns and then you exhale.
No need to change it now.
Just pay attention.
Then start to do a scan of the body starting with the top of the head.
And allowing your breath to carry you down through the body into each ear.
Traveling through your throat into your shoulders.
Paying attention to anything that might pop up as you go down your spine.
And as you scan your body,
There's nothing that you need to change.
You don't have to fixate,
But allow yourself to simply explore and be curious and notice if anything pops up for you.
If you feel some resistance in a certain area,
Feel free to sit there a little bit longer.
Scan down through your stomach into your pelvic bowl.
Circling your hips.
Allowing your attention to go into your legs.
Taking your time as you continue to move down the body.
And once you reach your feet,
You're going to go back up the body.
Just giving yourself a chance to reconnect,
To notice.
Scanning through your arms,
Your upper back,
Your neck.
Any places you might have missed on your way down,
Give them the attention that you deserve.
I'm going to have you take three deep breaths,
Inhaling through your nose as deeply into your abdomen as you can and exhaling out of your mouth.
The next thing you know,
You feel like you are falling.
You're surrounded by dark,
But you're falling down and down.
You look around and you can't see anything.
You aren't sure what's coming or when it ends,
But you take a deep breath and you settle in and just allow yourself to free fall.
Any fear you might have goes away.
And at that moment,
You land softly on the ground below you.
You stand up and look around.
It's dark and yet there's nothing that feels familiar or looks familiar about where you are.
As you step forward,
You realize that you are in a maze.
You start to walk and as you first turn the corner,
There is a mirror.
You look in the mirror and you don't recognize the person staring back at you.
And in that moment,
The mirror breaks,
It shatters right in front of you.
But this is not a sign of bad luck.
This is an opportunity for rebirth.
You turn to go the other way and there is a being waiting for you.
They are ready and waiting to guide you through this maze.
You feel safe and you connect with this guide.
They are here to protect you from making a bunch of wrong turns where you no longer recognize who you've become in the process.
You begin to walk through the maze and they instruct you to look up above you.
As you look up,
You see your spiritual team hovering above the maze.
They're here to remind you that they have a perspective that allows them to see clearly the entire maze.
A perspective in which you don't have because you're right in the thick of it.
As you continue to make your way through the maze,
Each turn your guide you are with is sure of which way to go.
They tell you that you must not follow the noise because your spiritual team speaks to you in a whisper.
As you go through life,
The loud noises are distractions attempting to lead you off course,
Which is why it's so important to take these moments to slow down and listen for the whispers.
Your guide reminds you that you have never walked this maze before,
So of course it is unfamiliar to you.
You have no way of possibly knowing which way to turn without relying on your team for help.
In this moment,
You realize you can see the exit of the maze ahead of you.
And as you prepare to walk out,
Your team has one last message for you.
When you don't know which direction to go,
Turn inward and allow us to guide you.
With that message,
You step out of the maze,
You look in front of you,
What do you see?
How is it that you feel?
Is there anything there waiting for you?
An animal,
A person,
A place,
A color,
A message.
Take some time to soak that in.
Whenever you are ready,
Start to come back into your body,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Stretching out your neck,
Doing whatever you need to do,
Taking three more of those deep cleansing breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth and whenever you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
