Welcome to today's Evolve meditation.
Today's meditation is all about seeing the world through an open heart because being able to see the world in this way completely shifts how we see every single thing in our life,
How we see the people around us,
The opportunity around us,
The situations that we may be going through or that other people are going through.
Being able to tap into your heart is one of the most important things that we can do as human beings.
So take a moment to get settled,
Taking a seat if that's what's most comfortable for you,
Laying down if that feels better.
Taking this time isn't about being perfect,
It's about taking the time,
Whether it be three minutes or ten or twenty.
Honor yourself for giving yourself this moment to reconnect with yourself,
Your heart,
And the universal consciousness.
Start to pay attention to your breathing,
Allowing yourself to notice that life force energy flowing through your body as you inhale and exhale,
Noticing,
Not judging.
Anything different about the breath?
Anything unusual?
Is it easy?
Does it feel forced?
Is it shallow?
Is there a depth to it?
There's no right or wrong,
Just an opportunity to notice.
Continue to pay attention to your breathing,
Gain depth with every breath,
Inhaling with a fullness that allows your lungs to expand,
Your diaphragm to expand,
Your belly to feel that breath,
And exhaling back out through your nose,
Allowing all of that to fully empty before starting your next breath.
I want you to take that breath and breathe into the top of your head.
The next breath,
Move to the middle of your forehead,
Breathing energy into your throat,
Moving that breath and that energy into your heart space in the middle of your chest,
Following that breath into your solar plexus,
Allowing it to move into your pelvic bowl,
And finally into the base of your spine,
And then allowing that breath to come back up into your pelvic bowl,
Breathing life into your solar plexus,
Your heart space,
Breathing into your throat,
To the top of your head,
Knowing that you are safe,
Knowing that you are protected.
Now I want you to take a moment to sink into the cave of your heart.
It doesn't matter how you get there,
There may be stairs,
There may be an elevator,
Maybe you've just appeared.
You're gonna take three deep breaths,
And those deep breaths,
You're gonna sink even more into that cave,
Heart space,
With that final deep breath,
And surrender into your heart.
As you make your way around your heart space,
You notice the walls are hard,
Like the inside of a cave.
There is water running down the walls that represent all of the tears that have gone unwept.
You look around,
And it's dark,
It's cold,
There's a loneliness you feel.
As you stand there,
Unsure,
Uncertain,
A unicorn appears.
As the unicorn appears,
The space becomes a little brighter.
You look down,
And the clothes you are wearing change.
The unicorn invites you to dance,
To begin to dance around the cave of your heart.
You hear a word pop up,
And you continue to dance.
As you dance around the cave,
The walls begin to crack.
The hardened aspects of your heart begin to fall away.
The sunlight begins to pour in through the cracks,
Opening you up to more joy and more bliss.
The more you dance,
The more the hardened walls break apart,
Piece by piece.
The hardened pieces of your heart fall around you,
Exposing a glass bubble that's now surrounding you in your unicorn.
You sit down in the rubble with the unicorn by your side.
You both look out and see the beautiful landscape that's in front of you.
With joy in your heart,
The walls have cracked,
The barriers have come down.
You are more open,
More exposed than ever,
More fragile,
And yet each of those things allows you to experience the world through an open heart.
It opens you up to a world that through your vulnerability is more beautiful than anything you could ever imagine.
You breathe in the light.
You breathe in the shift.
You breathe in the transformation.
You look at your unicorn.
There's a final message they wish to give you,
And they do so now.
You thank your unicorn for this message.
You take one more deep breath,
Reminding yourself that when you do everything with joy in your heart,
Your entire landscape will begin to shift.
Allow yourself to start to come back into your body,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Stretching out your neck,
Taking three more of those cleansing breaths before you go about your day or your night.
And whenever you feel ready,
You can open your eyes.
