Inner autumn guided meditation brought to you by Spirit Woman and led by Liana Pereja.
Take a moment to settle in and allow yourself to get still.
Connect with your breath and begin to tune in to each inhale and exhale.
You are now in a sacred and important phase within your cyclicality.
Your pre-menstrual phase.
The watery waves of emotion are felt more intensely and acutely now more than any other time of the month.
And these few moments in time that you take with yourself each day are a part of what will keep you grounded and in tune with the source of your being.
Inhale.
Notice the expansion of your lungs and upper body.
Exhale.
Notice any releases and sensations of relaxation passing through your body.
Your breath,
The internal and external circular force,
Is proof that you are alive.
And as you continue to be fully present with each inhale and exhale,
Gently remind yourself how wonderful it feels to be aware of your breath.
To be one with yourself.
This quiet stillness allows you to reconnect with your true essence as all the outer distractions of the world begin to fade into the distance.
And now begin to pay attention to the emotions that are present.
What happens when you feel the strongest emotion?
What's coming up for you?
See if you can connect with the sensation in your body connected with your current emotion.
A way of identifying this is by noticing what areas in your body feel tense.
Are there any negative emotions?
Simply allow that emotion to be there and begin to consciously send kindness to that part of your body.
Notice your forehead,
Your jaw,
Your neck,
Your chest,
Your back,
Your stomach,
Your womb.
Notice your breath again.
Has it changed?
Is it shallow or is it deep?
Any feelings of anger,
Guilt,
Frustration,
Fear,
Or unforgiveness that are present are here to serve you as a guidepost.
A marker to identify where healing deserves to happen.
Now notice where your body touches and connects to the earth beneath you.
Whether you are sitting or lying down,
See if you can take the energy of that emotion and release it into the ground below.
Let the power and life-giving energy of Mother Earth support you and hold you.
With your breath,
Gently allow anything that comes up for you to pass through you and be absorbed back into the earth.
Can you find compassion for yourself in this moment?
Affirm to yourself that you see and love yourself for all that you are.
All intense emotions that you may be experiencing are calling out for you to look within and identify what is unhealed within you.
Find the space in your breath that allows you to connect with compassion for the person in your life who is revealing your unhealed wounds to you.
Acknowledge that they too have unhealed wounds deep within themselves.
For the following practice,
Notice if any of it leads you to feel uncomfortable or fidgety.
Rather than shying away from the discomfort,
See if you can allow yourself to be the witness.
Rest into it and just be with it.
Place your hands on your womb or the space around your womb.
Thank her for her guidance that has led you to this very moment.
Through her natural cycle of releasing and cleansing each month,
She in essence taught you how to let go of what no longer serves you.
Breathe in and on your next exhale,
Send love and healing down to this part of your body.
The doorway to human life on earth,
Your womb,
The giver and nurturer of life through which you entered into this world.
Circling back to the breath,
Begin to notice your heartbeat.
Feel its pulse from your heart,
Through your veins,
Down your arms,
Into your hands,
Down your legs and into your feet.
Begin to affirm yourself,
I am a miracle,
A living breathing miracle.
I love who I am exactly as I am.
I am in tune with the sensations of my body and allow my emotions to pass through freely.
Each time I rest and check in with myself,
I deepen my awareness and accelerate my own healing.
I am grateful for the challenges that have taught me who I truly am.
I am deeply attuned to my intuition and honor this powerful guide in my life.
I surrender to my higher self and sit quietly pondering the truths that are revealing themselves to me.
My inner autumn is the perfect and most impactful time in my cyclicality to practice the inner work of healing and transformation.
I embrace this vulnerability and I give it permission to do its sacred work in my life.
