Why You Keep Emotionally Looping
You may feel like you’ve already processed something, only to find yourself experiencing the same emotions again. In this short talk, I explore why emotional patterns can repeat and how this isn’t a sign of going backwards, but an invitation to move through something more deeply. A gentle reflection on allowing emotions to be felt, rather than analysed or avoided. Take a moment to listen, slow down, and meet what’s coming up with more awareness.

If you feel like you keep going in circles emotionally,
You're not crazy.
There's a relatable truth in this.
It can feel like you're processing something,
You understand it,
You think you've moved on from it,
And then suddenly out of nowhere you're right back in it again.
Here's a personal reflection.
I used to think this meant that I hadn't healed.
Like I was going backwards.
But emotional looping isn't failure.
It's something coming back.
Because it hasn't fully moved through you yet.
And the reality check is that there's again a deeper layer here.
So let's get into it.
Most of us don't actually feel things all the way.
We think about them,
We analyse them,
We try to understand them.
But we don't always let the body complete the experience.
Now I want to reframe this.
Let's reframe this.
Because the loop isn't there to frustrate you.
It's there to give you another chance to feel it differently.
So you're not going backwards.
You're just stuck in an emotional loop.
So I'm going to leave you with this.
Sometimes the fix isn't thinking your way out of it.
It's feeling your way.
It's in allowing yourself to finally feel it,
Without trying to fix it.
