Begin by finding a comfortable and quiet space where you won't be disturbed.

Sit or lie down in a relaxed position and gently close your eyes.

Take a few deep breaths in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Letting go of any tension or worries from the night.

Take a few moments to simply observe your breath.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest and belly as you breathe in and out.

Allow your breath to naturally settle into a comfortable rhythm.

Now bring your awareness to the present moment.

Notice any sensations in your body,

The feel of the surface beneath you and the sounds around you.

Let go of thoughts about the past or future and fully immerse yourself in the now.

Visualise the day ahead of you.

Imagine it unfolding in a positive and fulfilling way.

What qualities do you want to bring into your day?

Peace?

Focus?

Gratitude?

Joy?

Choose one word or a short phrase that represents your intention for the day.

As you inhale,

Silently repeat your chosen word or phrase to yourself.

Imagine that with each breath you are drawing in the energy and essence of this intention.

Feel it filling your mind,

Body and heart as thoughts or distractions arise.

Acknowledge them without judgement and then gently bring your focus back to your breath and your intention.

Your breath serves as an anchor,

Grounding you in the present moment.

Take a moment to reflect on the things you are grateful for in your life.

These could be simple things like a comfortable bed,

A loving friend or the opportunity to start anew each day.

Allow feelings of gratitude to fill your heart.

As you conclude this meditation,

Take a few deep cleansing breaths.

Wiggle your fingers and toes and gently open your eyes if they were closed.

Carry the intention you've set with you throughout your day.

Allowing it to guide your thoughts,

Actions and interactions.

Remember that setting intentions is a powerful way to shape your day and your life.

Each moment offers a fresh opportunity to align with your intention and bring it to life.

Whenever you need a moment of calm or focus during the day,

Return to your breath and the intention you've set.
