Welcome welcome welcome this morning really lovely to see you Let's take a posture,
However that is for you,
Some way of sitting that frees up room for your spine to be tall and that can be lying down or it can be standing or it can be sitting.
And just making a connection to ground,
A conscious connection to ground.
Perhaps that's through the feet or the pelvis.
Allowing a heaviness.
Dropping.
You might tune into the sounds of your surroundings or you might take a moment just to look around in your space.
As any.
Nature that you can see,
Even if it's just the light coming through the window.
A tuning to nature.
Just a reminder that you're not in isolation here.
And then you can choose.
For your practice,
Maybe you want to keep your eyes open.
There's definitely a little bit more challenging for me when I keep trying to keep my eyes open.
I much prefer eyelids down.
Helps me to escape into my inner world a bit.
But it's a different kind of practice,
It's more mindful actually.
To have the eyes open.
Just let the gaze drop.
So you can be both present with the outer world and the inner world simultaneously.
Having said that,
You choose.
You choose,
Eyes open,
Eyes closed.
It's your practice.
Maybe you move between the two.
You can place your hands on your lap.
My suggestion is palms facing downwards for this grounding energy today.
Mantra for our practice is MR CAR BA.
Nakapa.
It's the mantra of Earth.
The Kundalini energy of Earth.
Of our planet.
So the mantra unifies the energy or the vibration of body with that of earth.
They are unified.
We're just realigning.
A tuning.
With her.
And with every mantra practice there is an undulation of awareness.
A rising and falling where the mantra comes to the forefront of your awareness and you're kind of all in.
And you can feel the mantra,
It's almost like a drumbeat that moves through heart,
Pelvis,
Soul.
And then the mantra kind of fades and other things,
The mind takes you to other places.
And then you notice.
And you slowly come back to the drumbeat of the mantra.
So that is the way of a mantra meditation.
So please don't think that there's a problem with that.
It's exactly as it is.
The mantra comes in and out of focus.
If we could let go of trying to get it right.
Trying to be right,
Trying to be perfect,
Trying to self-improve,
Trying,
Trying,
Trying.
I'm so tired of trying.
If we can let go of trying and sink back.
Into being held.
By what's here.
Maybe that will be a helpful practice.
So let the breath steady itself.
Maybe you're breathing through your nose.
Maybe not.
And let the mantra begin.
Merkaba.
Enjoy your practice.
You know.
As we come towards our closing.
Time.
Perhaps dropping into the body.
And just noticing what's here.
The practice can be quite a journey.
Time travel.
Memories and imagination.
As well as the drumbeat of the mantra.
Perhaps bringing awareness into your heart space and touching a longing to Stay in union.
In alignment.
Attunement with Earth.
With life.
With one another.
Maybe the mantra can just rest as the heartbeat.
Heartbeat of you,
The heartbeat of Mother Earth.
Maybe it's my pelvic.
This serpent kundalini energy at the base of the spine.
In the core of the uh Maybe it's all of these things.
We offer the fruits of our practice to ourselves.
To each other.
To Mother Earth and all beings.
Thank you for joining this morning.
Namaste.
