Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either cross-legged on a cushion or sitting in a chair with feet flat on the floor and a straight back,

Allowing room for the belly to expand and contract with each breath.

Let's take a moment to set an intention for today's practice.

For every story,

There is an author and observer.

The constant in every story,

True or imagined,

Real or unreal.

The observer does not judge or react or believe or disbelieve.

The observer is awareness.

Awareness has no reactions or expectation,

No desires or fears,

No story.

The illusions and fallacies of the mind are rooted in story.

Beyond this illusion is pure awareness,

Always present.

The same yesterday,

Today and always.

The body,

The nervous system,

Is designed to be always present.

Observing sensations,

Observing vibrations,

Observing frequencies.

To observe the body creates a feedback loop of awareness.

Vibrations and sensations do not have a story.

The nervous system senses pure vibrations,

Tuning in and recalibrating with the breath.

Beyond the stories created by the mind.

This return to observation is a return to trust.

Let's count a few together at four and six.

After the count of four,

We will begin.

I'd like to remind myself that resistance perpetuates the story's existence.

Gratitude is always present.

Remember that pure,

Observing awareness is always within you.

Thank you for your practice today.

At first I thought the loud sounds were unpleasant, like a snow plow rumbling by, but I stayed with it and found my body went into the deepest state of calm and relaxation than I can remember. Thank you!
