So let me find a comfortable position for my body.
And the second step to bring down thoughts of worry is to slow down my thinking.
Worry overpowers me.
Worry overtakes the mind.
Worry makes me overthink.
If I can bring my thoughts down,
If I can lessen the quantity of my thoughts,
I can lessen the amount I worry.
So as I relax the body and I feel the calm and easiness of my body,
I turn within looking at the state of my mind.
And I see my mind as a screen.
A screen on which so many thoughts are racing around.
Most of my thoughts might be about the future.
Wondering how things will work out.
What might happen?
What changes life might bring for myself or for those who I love,
Who I live with.
Worry can be connected to any form of change.
Will I stay in the place that I live in now?
Will I do what I'm doing now?
Will I have enough to manage my life with?
Will the people who support me still be around me?
Worry is always about the future and what the future might hold.
So let me not overthink about the future.
Let me gently pull the mind back from so many thoughts.
So much mixture,
So much confusion.
Let me bring my mind back from all that confusion.
And let go of all those thoughts one by one.
Let the screen of my mind,
Just full of thoughts,
Racing around.
Become peaceful.
Become clear.
Become clean.
Let go of all those thoughts on the screen of your mind.
Let the screen become empty of thoughts.
Let me just be with myself,
The inner self,
Disconnected from this overthinking of the future.
Just be here and allow the screen of your mind to be at peace.
Relaxed.
And just pick up this one thought.
I am relaxed.
I am at peace.
I am okay.
And when I am okay,
In this moment and the next moment and the next moment,
Then everything will be okay.
I am relaxed.
I am at peace.
I am okay.
There are no other thoughts needed.
And whatever happens will be okay.
I take myself from one moment to the next.
So if I can live in the present moment and allow my thoughts to be here,
And allow my thoughts to be few,
Then there is space on the screen of my mind to see clearly and to know how to manage the future.
It is confusion and overthinking that don't allow me to move forward.
The more space I have on the screen of my mind,
The more inner space I can hold,
The more I can fill the space with feelings of peace and relaxation.
Spill the whole screen of your mind with this peaceful,
Calm energy right now,
Holding just that one thought of being relaxed,
At peace and being okay.
Whatever I hold in my mind now,
Let me project it into the future.
Later today and tomorrow,
My mind will still be relaxed and at peace and I will still be okay,
No matter what challenges come.
And just feel the peace that has filled the inner space in your mind and hold those feelings.
