This meditation is to help to deal with feelings of insecurity.
It will help you to feel safe.
It will help you to use that feeling of safety to create a safe space around you so that anyone who comes close to you will feel that same vibration,
The energy of safety.
So sit relaxed and watch your breath.
And as your mind brings itself to the here and now,
Observe with honesty any feeling of insecurity.
Any feeling that takes you away from peace.
Any feeling that creates a sense of discomfort inside.
Yes the feeling is there.
And ask yourself gently,
What are the thoughts that I'm thinking that are creating these feelings of insecurity?
Why am I feeling unsafe?
Why am I feeling that my security has been taken away?
Maybe there are no thoughts that you can relate to today that have created this feeling,
But possibly a way of thinking in the past.
A comfort zone that you've created that feels like it's being taken away.
I feel insecure because what is it?
What is it that life is taking away that makes you feel that your protection,
Your safety,
Your security is being invaded?
On an external level,
People can break into our houses.
People can attack our bodies.
This is an invasion of the external space.
And it is important to secure ourselves on the outside.
But more important is to secure my inner space.
The place inside my mind where I have a choice to create a comfort zone of safety.
Because no one can invade this inner space if I choose to close the door.
So as your breath comes and goes,
Bring your attention to your mind,
To that inner space where you create thoughts,
Where you create feelings,
Emotions,
Attitudes.
And as you come into this space,
Realize that you have the choice to close the door behind you and not allow in any negativity,
Any sense of insecurity.
In the outside world,
Things are constantly changing and people,
Situations and circumstances fluctuate.
But in my inside world,
I can create a deep sense that I am secure forever.
I am who I am.
I am okay as I am.
This is the greatest security and safety in my life.
Because in this inner space,
As I sit with myself,
I don't need anyone to build walls around for me to feel safe.
I don't need locks and bolts.
I only need to remind myself that all that I have is my own positive mind,
Positive feelings and deep appreciation for my own life.
I appreciate everything I have done,
Even the smallest step I have taken to create a life of joy for myself and others.
And in this appreciation,
I am reminded that this energy of goodness inside me will create safety.
Goodness is an aura.
Positivity is an aura.
Purity is an aura.
And as I sit in my inner space,
This aura spreads all around me.
I am okay just as I am.
And I will always be okay.
And I feel protected by myself.
I feel protected from the opinions of others and from the fluctuations in the world.
If I have done good,
Good must come back to me.
And this aura of light around me will keep me safe from harm.
I am created out of goodness.
And today I touch base with the goodness in my inner space.
And I allow this aura of light to spread all around me so that anyone who comes near me is pulled into a feeling that they too are okay,
That they will forever be safe.
On the outside,
I may have no protection.
But when I go within,
I am saved from anything.
Sit in your space of safety and feel it and spread it all around.
