This gentle Yoga Nidra invites you to rest into stillness and uncover the quiet wisdom that lives within. Through breath awareness, body sensing, and witnessing presence, you are guided inward — where clarity, insight, and inner knowing begin to bloom. This practice supports emotional integration, nervous system regulation, and embodied awareness. It was also designed with care to support those integrating transformational experiences, including plant medicine journeys — yet its essence is universal and beneficial for all. Let go of the noise. Settle into stillness. Receive the pearl of your truth. Music by Chris Collins

It's a welcome.

Welcome to this Soma Nidra journey to support your integration.

Letting yourself settle.

Notice if anything needs any further adjustment,

If there's any clothing bunched up anywhere or a cover that's not quite right,

Just take a moment to make any adjustments and then allow your spine to be long,

Your pelvis resting on the surface beneath you,

And sense the connection points of your own body to the earth beneath you.

And let's take a nice deep breath in through the nose,

Hold it for a moment at the top,

Let a bit of tension build,

And then whenever you feel an urge to release,

Then let it go into the earth,

The long outgoing side.

Now shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.

A welcome home to your body,

Your breath,

Your whole being.

And as you soften into the earth beneath you,

Know you are welcome here,

In this space,

On this land,

Among us here,

Fully welcome.

And whatever arises within,

Be it sensations,

Feelings,

Emotions,

Thoughts,

Desires,

Images,

Or if any distractions arise from outside,

Allow it all to be here with a sense of welcoming,

An invitation to move you more deeply within,

Knowing all along that you're held here safely in the awareness that is Yoga Nidra.

Give yourself full permission to simply move through the practice in any way that feels good to you,

Without any pressures,

No demands,

No expectations placed on you to be any other way than you truly are.

Now allow your senses to be wide open,

Sights behind closed eyelids,

Smells,

Tastes,

A touch of air and clothing on your skin,

Pressure of your body on the earth,

Letting sounds drift in and out,

Sinking into the spaces between the sounds,

Merging into silence,

And inviting your senses to retreat inward.

Invite the mind to settle in your body,

To descend into stillness.

And as we enter a quieter state of being,

We'll invite an inner sanctuary into our awareness.

This is an inner landscape or place where you feel at ease,

Sensing peace and safety within,

Where basic goodness is alive and well.

No outside forces can touch you here,

Knowing you are held in this space and awareness that is Yoga Nidra.

Take a moment to ask your own body what is needed to invite a deeper sense of well-being and a felt sense of safety.

Is it perhaps an animal?

A power animal or a beloved pet?

A loved one or a wise one?

Is it a place in nature or an element of nature?

Or something else?

A special connection with the realms of the ancestors or angelic wisdom?

Anything else that can be invited in to deepen your sense of well-being?

And just notice what shows up without engaging the thinking mind.

Now invite a sense of protection to surround you with a sense of peace rippling through your whole body,

Your whole being,

Awakened by the healer within.

And let the call of your inner healer settle you more deeply into your ground of being,

Which can never be touched by any outside forces.

Know you are held here.

And know that you can call forth this inner sanctuary if any disturbances arise,

Be it internal images,

Emotions,

Memories,

Or distractions from outside.

Your inner sanctuary reconnects you to the ground of your own being,

A place that you can return to at a moment's notice.

And just as a seed is planted in bountiful soils of the earth,

We invite our intention to be seeded in the fertile ground of our being.

Within the potent space of yoga nidra,

We can invite a heartfelt prayer or intention.

This might be,

In this practice,

An invitation to help you integrate new ways of being,

New ways of walking through the world.

Perhaps your intention moves you towards what you want to create or become.

This is a way of being born of your heart,

And plant in the heart of your being the seed of intention.

It could be with words,

Stated in a positive way in the present tense.

Or it could be an image or a felt sense without words.

And if nothing in particular arises,

Simply trust in the deeper intuitive guidance of your own soul's wisdom.

It already knows the way.

And letting that go,

We will now journey through the body,

As though exploring the fertile potent soils of the earth herself.

As I name the area of the land of your body,

Allow your attention to follow the sound of my voice.

As I guide you,

Remain in non-doing,

Silent awareness.

Now let your attention come to sense your mouth,

Lips,

Cheeks,

Nose,

Ears,

Right eye,

Right ear,

Left eye,

Forehead,

Scalp.

Feel your eyes as blossoming orbs of sensation,

Rooted in the rich soils of the land of your body.

Like a mycelium web beneath the soil,

Sense your throat and neck,

Right shoulder,

Elbow,

Right hand and fingers.

And sense the blossoming of a flower in your right hand palm,

Sprouting its beauty into every cell of your hand,

Its fragrance making its way up into elbow and right shoulder.

And sense left shoulder,

Elbow,

Left hand and fingers.

Sense the blossoming of a flower in your left hand palm,

Sprouting its beauty into every cell of your hand,

Its fragrance making its way up into elbow,

Left shoulder.

And like a network of little rootlets,

Sense into your chest,

In the cave of your heart,

A flower blossoms with radiance,

Its fragrance touching every cell of your chest,

Ribs,

Lungs,

Back.

And following these rootlets through the land of your body,

Sensing into your belly,

At the navel center a flower blooms with radiance,

Its fragrance touching every cell of your internal organs,

Radiating its beauty into the pelvic bowl,

Bringing every cell alive with its color,

Scent and light.

A thick root grows down into your right hip,

Right foot and toes.

And sense the flowering of a large blossom at the sole of the foot,

Radiating its beauty and fragrance,

Making its way into every cell of your right foot,

Into knee,

Into the right hip.

And a thick root grows down into your left hip,

Knee,

Left foot.

Sense the flowering of a large blossom at the sole of the foot,

Radiating its beauty and fragrance,

Making its way into every cell of your left foot.

Sense your whole left leg,

Whole right leg,

Like a network of rootlets nourishing the soils of the land of your body.

Sense your whole right arm,

Whole left arm,

Like a network of rootlets nourishing the soils of the land of your body.

Sense your whole torso,

Like a network of rootlets,

Nourishing the soils of the land of your body.

And sense your whole head as a field of fragrance from a blossoming flower at the eyebrow center.

Sense your whole body smiling at the vibrancy of these colorful flowers,

Rooted in abundant soils of the living earth.

And now,

Letting the breath be just as it is,

Setting it completely free to be just as it is,

The body breathing itself,

And with each exhalation,

Feeling the body more and more being received and embraced by and as the earth,

The feeling of being the earth,

Letting go completely and feeling the heaviness and weight of the body as earth,

The body dropping deeper,

Becoming the earth,

Earth dissolving into earth,

And allowing inhalation to invite an opposite feeling of lightness,

A feeling of airy lightness,

As though floating lightly on a cloud of sensation,

Lightness,

Airy lightness,

And then come back to the weight and heaviness of the body,

Feeling the solidity and density of earth,

Earth dissolving into earth,

And then coming back to the airy lightness of the breath,

Feeling of lightness as if floating lightly on mists of sensation,

Airy lightness,

And sensing both heaviness and lightness at the same time,

Holding both heaviness and lightness in your awareness at the same time.

If a new sensation or an emotion appears,

Just let it be here with an acknowledgement of your own inner voice,

Like a whisper on the breeze of your breath,

That lovingly,

Tenderly,

Compassionately says,

I hear you,

I hear you.

Now you find yourself arriving at the edge of the ocean,

Where gentle waves kiss the shoreline,

And as you step forward,

The cool water laps at your feet,

Inviting you in.

With each step,

You feel a transformation taking place,

Your body growing sleek and fluid,

Long,

Thin sprouts from your feet,

And you glide effortlessly into the water,

Moving with ease of one who knows the depths.

Breathing freely beneath the surface,

You feel the power of your fin propelling you deeper,

Guiding you toward the vibrant ocean floor.

The underwater world is alive with color and wonder.

As you drift through this magical realm,

A glimmer catches your eye,

A soft,

Radiant sparkle beckoning you forward.

Drawn by its light,

You swim closer and discover a magnificent oyster,

Her shell slightly open,

Revealing the source of the shimmer within.

You feel as though this light is shining just for you,

Calling you toward something precious.

And as you near,

The oyster slowly opens wider,

Revealing the most exquisite pearl you have ever seen.

It glistens with an iridescent rainbow,

Pulsating with a quiet,

Luminous energy.

You sense that this pearl holds something profound,

A message,

A gift,

A key to embodying a new way of being.

With deep gratitude,

You reach out and receive this treasure,

Holding it gently to your heart,

Thanking the oyster for her gift.

Floating now in the vast,

Spacious waters,

You feel weightless,

Free,

Completely at ease in the embrace of the ocean,

As though gravity no longer exists.

A deep knowing settles within you as the gift of the pearl integrates into your very being.

As you float within this domain of grace,

The pearl resting gently on your chest its luminous glow merging seamlessly into your heart space.

As it dissolves into you,

Waves of warmth radiate outward,

Filling your entire being with a deep sense of joy.

The pearl's light infuses every part of you,

Igniting an inner smile that begins within the heart and spreads like a soft,

Glowing ember.

You have entered a new dimension,

A realm where you are simply allowed to be,

In touch with the wisdom of your soul.

Dissolved into pure presence,

You rest in the sacred stillness of your own being,

Cradled by the vastness around you.

The pearl's shimmering,

Rainbow-like light flows in gentle waves through your entire body,

Carrying radiant threads of wisdom into every cell.

It moves deep into the core of your being,

Whispering to your DNA,

Informing it of the new ways you are ready to move through the world.

This light carries within it the perfect knowledge,

The precise frequencies needed to embody this new way of being.

From the heart,

This transformation expands outward,

Rippling through your body.

Your shoulders soften,

Smiling.

Your arms relax,

Smiling.

Your head grows lighter,

Smiling.

Your lips curve upward ever so gently as though kissed by light.

Every cell is alive,

Awake,

And smiling,

Vibrating in harmony with this newfound state of being.

You rest here,

Luminous and whole.

Effortlessly aligned with the truth of who you are becoming.

Allow this new way of being to align with your deepest heartfelt intention,

Holding it gently in your awareness.

Take this moment to nourish your intention,

Your heartfelt prayer,

Your sankalpa.

Let it take form in your own way,

Be it through words whispered within,

Or an image shimmering in your mind's eye,

Or a felt sense rippling through your body as a direct present moment experience,

As though it is already so.

Allow it to be received at the most subtle level of your being.

Simply remain open.

Welcoming the wisdom of your soul to emerge,

Allowing for your intention to integrate with the treasure of the pearl.

And now,

Without effort,

Without pull,

With absolute ease,

You begin to drift upward from these ocean depths,

Rising effortlessly through the gentle currents.

You carry with you the wisdom embedded in the treasure of the pearl,

Carrying it with you upward,

Slowly,

Naturally,

Toward the surface of the ocean,

And equally toward the surface of waking awareness.

And you feel the soft touch of sand beneath what are now your feet again.

As you rise from the waves,

Your body remembers the sensation of gravity,

Of the earth's gentle embrace.

Your feet press into the warm sand,

Sensing the solid ground beneath.

And you step forward,

Walking out of the waves onto the shoreline.

And each step feels different.

You carry yourself differently.

With every moment,

You feel filled with a new force,

An energy,

A vitality that radiates from within.

You're ready to shine,

Ready to emerge,

Ready to express yourself fully and freely.

You give yourself permission to be exactly as you are.

Simply allow your presence to unfold naturally,

Holding within you the pearls of wisdom,

The gifts you have brought back.

And remain curious and connected to your inner felt sense as your awareness gently expands outward.

As you begin to externalize your attention,

Notice the space around you.

Letting your attention notice the sounds in the space,

Listening,

Perhaps the distant hum of life,

Or the hush of silence.

Sense the gentle flow of air on your skin,

Subtle caress of breath moving through space.

Notice the weight of any clothing or props,

The way they rest against your body.

And just taking your time as you invite your attention back.

And whenever you feel ready,

You can begin to invite soft,

Natural movement back into the body,

Perhaps a gentle wiggle of fingers and toes,

A slow stretch,

A deepening of the breath.

And shifting your awareness toward what lies ahead.

So it could be moving into your day,

It could be easing into your evening,

Or even surrendering to the deep embrace of the night.

So if it's the end of your day,

You might choose to remain in this liminal space,

Nourishing rest and quiet reflection.

And if you're continuing with your day,

Take a moment to fully return back to this space.

Really anchor into your breath.

Be fully present in your body,

And sensing the earth beneath you that is steady,

Holding you,

Supporting you.

And so whenever you're ready to return fully awake,

Refreshed,

Alive,

Whole,

This journey of Yoga Nidra is now coming to a close.

So we come in peace,

We go in peace.
