Peace and blessings.
This is Rev Skip,
And welcome to your relaxation meditation.
The experience of life can be like a roller coaster.
We go up.
We go down.
We're moved side to side by our emotions.
Sometimes we simply need to stop,
Rest,
Take a moment,
And just breathe.
So I want you to get into a place where you can relax.
Stay awake and aware.
Keep your mind alert.
So go ahead and close your eyes.
I want you to remember that you are in a safe place to meditate.
So let's start with a breath.
Take a deep breath in through our nostrils and slowly release your breath.
Let's do that two more times.
Take a nice long deep breath in.
Hold your breath at the very top and slowly release your breath.
One more time.
Inhale through your nostrils.
Take as much breath as you can get into your body.
A little bit more.
Now full release.
Let go of everything.
Whenever you find yourself drifting off,
Return back to your breath or the sound of my voice.
In this meditation,
I want us to connect with our feelings.
For the next few minutes,
I simply want you to be willing to release fear,
Doubt,
And worry.
And within your consciousness,
I want you to envision a lake of water.
I want you to see the lake as a still body of energy.
I want you to see a beautiful sunset that is just about to hit the edge of the water.
Take a deep breath in.
Exhale.
See yourself on the edge of the lake,
On the shore,
In a chair,
Looking out into the peaceful water.
See yourself calm,
At peace,
With joy.
And as you begin to relax,
You begin to notice the stillness of the water as a gentle,
Calm movement.
And the sunset gives off an amber hue reflection on the surface of the water.
You can see the birds flying.
You can see the clouds.
You can see the peacefulness of sunset.
This is our peaceful place.
This is our lake of peace,
Of calm.
It's our personal place to relax and to let go of fear,
Doubt,
Worry.
And now that we're feeling a little bit more relaxed,
We can begin to ask ourselves,
What would it feel like to live a life in peace?
We can ask ourselves,
How would my body operate in a state of relaxation?
Take a deep breath in.
Big exhale.
Take a deep breath in once again.
Big exhale.
Look out across the ocean.
Look out across the body of water.
As the sun continues to set,
There is still a beautiful amber glow.
And now the sun has gone down.
Once again,
Take a deep breath in.
Exhale,
Release.
Our mantra for today,
I am at peace,
And my mind is calm.
I am at peace.
My mind is calm.
I am at peace.
My mind is calm.
Feel this energy.
Feel this vibration.
And slowly begin to open up your eyes.
Place your right hand onto your heart,
Your left hand on top of the right hand.
Remember your mantra for today.
I am at peace,
And my mind is calm.
