Full Moon Meditation Nature has her regular rhythms and cycles,

Which offer us opportunities to pause,

Reflect and recalibrate.

The moon's cycles are just one such example.

Each month,

The moon reminds us that we need periods of energy and achievement,

Balanced with periods of reflection and rest.

The full moon is traditionally held as a time of energy and abundance,

Gratitude and awareness of how your new moon intentions have come to fruition.

This meditation is an invitation to pause,

To reconnect with your own inner wisdom and to take stock of the abundance and joy in your life,

To acknowledge all that you are grateful for and to notice the ways in which life might be fulfilling your hopes and dreams in unexpected ways.

If the moon is visible to the eye,

You might like to do this meditation while looking at it or bathing in its light,

Or if clouds are obscuring it,

You may like to close your eyes during the practice and simply visualise and sense its presence.

You may do this meditation in a seated position or lying down,

Just making sure your spine is aligned and you're comfortable,

So inviting you to adopt the position of your choice and either lifting your gaze to the visible moon or gently closing the eyes if that feels more appropriate.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath in,

Holding it for a count of 5,

4,

3,

2,

1 and releasing it,

And as we release,

Seeing if it's possible to invite a sense of relaxation into the body,

Having a sense of coming home,

Of arriving in the present moment and allowing the breath to return to its natural rhythm and taking a few moments to rest the attention on the ebb and flow of the inhale and exhale,

And inviting you now to sense into the atmosphere of the room or space you are in,

The air,

The energy,

And expanding your awareness now to having a sense of the presence of the moon high above you,

Always present,

Constant,

Familiar,

And either observing or visualising the fullness of the moon as it shares its light,

Promise and potential to all it shines upon,

And following the moon's example,

Taking a moment now to shine your attention on the fullness of your life,

And inviting you to ask yourself the following questions,

And in the pauses that follow,

Just being open to whatever comes up for you,

And that might be nothing at all,

Just allowing an answer to form in your heart or your mind if so wishes,

And if you need more time to consider each question,

Feel free to pause the audio until you're ready to move on.

What in your life are you grateful for?

What intentions or goals have you set recently,

Perhaps at the last new moon?

In what ways have these intentions or goals come to fruition,

Or what progress has been made?

Have there been any unexpected opportunities or good fortune that has come your way recently?

Are they aligned with your original intentions and goals,

Or could they present another path?

Inviting you to really sense into now,

What that sense of abundance and gratitude feels like,

Can you sense it in any specific areas of your body?

What physical sensations arise,

And what emotions are present?

Taking a few moments now to just really relish and soak up those feelings and sensations,

And taking a moment now,

Using whichever words or language feels natural to you,

To express your gratitude to the full moon,

Life,

Nature,

The universe,

Spirit,

God or whatever creative force you feel connected to,

For supporting you and for its generosity and abundance.

And as the meditation draws to a close,

Inviting you to reconnect with the breath,

Sensing into your own energy,

Your potential.

And before you move on with your day or evening,

You might like to note down in a journal or notebook,

Any of the answers or wisdom that came to you that you wish to remember,

Or you might simply hold it in your heart and mind as you continue with your life.

May you go well into your future.
