The power of a simple moment carries more meaning than we can imagine. I want to inspire you to slow down and connect with every moment. Life is feeling, loving, and connecting. We need to remember we are alive and every moment counts.

Today I was sitting down on the beach,

Gazing into the distant sun as the rays warmed my skin.

A simple moment in time,

A treasure.

We are blessed to have so many moments in our lives.

All moments are gifts,

Even the ones that seem to be empty of meaning.

Every day we are gifted with countless opportunities to be grateful.

It is easy to disregard many moments as just moments,

And other moments as crucial.

The moments we experience create the puzzle of life.

Every moment is a puzzle piece,

An opportunity to be,

To connect and feel alive.

A moment holding onto a warm mug of tea.

A moment when a cool breeze blows against your face.

A moment when your grandmother sings.

A moment holding hands with your partner.

A moment sitting around a table with people you love.

One simple moment at a time.

If we experience each one with our entire being,

And do not get lost in the future,

In moments that have not yet arrived,

We will understand how lucky we are to have so many moments.

As my sensei once said,

There is no tomorrow,

The time is now my friend,

The time is always now.

Embrace the days by being present in the simple moments.
