Transcript

In a car,

Stuck in traffic,

Stop and go,

Mostly stop.

No progress.

Feeling frustrated,

Annoyed,

Stressed out.

What's the problem?

Is there an accident?

Construction?

Tired of being stuck sitting in the car,

Wishing I was there already.

Let's move.

Pause and take a breath.

Bring your attention to the feeling of your body being seated,

Hands on the wheel.

Simply notice where you are in space.

Now notice the other drivers nearby,

Also stuck in traffic.

All of us moving together,

Starting and stopping.

What a wonderful chance to offer loving kindness.

May you be safe.

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you be at ease.

May you be joyful.

May you be peaceful.

May you be happy.

Just as you and I seek happiness,

All beings everywhere also want happiness.

Wishing everyone you see and everyone unseen,

Unconditional good wishes.

May all beings be at peace.

This is street loving kindness.
