Welcome to this moment.

I'm so so glad that you're here.

My name is Shanti and today we're gonna be practicing with the element of freshness.

So whether the weather has been gloomy and rainy or cloudy for the past few days or maybe your emotions have felt tender or tough or perhaps you were just looking for an uplift,

Taking a mini break of self-care for whatever reason,

I'm glad that you're here.

So let's come into noticing our body in this moment and you can either be sitting,

Standing,

Or even laying down.

Whatever feels right for you.

Just dropping the shoulders,

Relaxing the belly,

And then coming to notice the breath.

Breathing into your body,

Your beautiful body,

A little deeper and slower.

And as you exhale,

Exhaling out even deeper,

Even slower.

Releasing,

Relaxing,

Connecting to that sense of ease on the exhalation.

The breath comes into the body,

It uplifts,

It brightens,

It expands,

It opens,

It brings a sense of newness in.

It's a new breath,

It's a new moment.

And as you exhale,

You let go,

You soften,

You release,

You release the burdens of the day,

The troubles of the mind,

The busyness that's been a backdrop.

And to bring in the flavor of freshness,

Imagine perhaps walking through a flower garden in the springtime when everything is blooming.

All of the buds are opening,

Lifting their precious faces to the sun,

To the sky,

Welcoming the nourishment of Mother Nature.

Taking that fresh spring breath in.

For a moment,

Imagine that you are one of these flowers.

A tulip,

A daisy,

A crocus,

A rose.

How do you feel being this beautiful flower of nature,

Lifting your face to the sun,

Breathing in the warm spring air,

Awakening to the day,

Feeling light,

Being bright.

So drinking the element of freshness into your whole body right now,

Allowing all of your cells to feel the lightness,

Feel the connection with all of nature,

The vibrancy and aliveness that exists.

Having that move through you,

Creating subtle energy in your body,

A sense of awakening like the springtime,

Opening to what's right here,

Opening your heart to possibilities,

Possibilities of this moment and possibilities of the day.

And bringing a gentle smile to your face,

Allowing that smile to bring even more freshness to who you are,

How you are,

To yourself in this moment,

To feeling lighter and brighter,

To connecting with a sense of freedom,

Possibility,

Life.

And as we come into a close in this moment,

Know that you can return anytime,

Anytime to this feeling sense of openness,

Freshness,

Presence.

Just turn to your inner garden,

Choose your flower,

Be and allow yourself much peace to you.

Well done Shanti. 🌻 The title reminded me of Thich Nhat Hanh Pebble Meditation. Keep up the good work. 🕉
