Life is a continual ebb and flow.
Every moment changes and is different than the next.
When things feel rough and tumbling,
However,
It's super easy to get caught up in and solidified in that feeling.
That feeling of,
I don't like this.
I don't want it to be as it is.
We spend a lot of time fighting it.
Fighting with ourselves,
Running away from how we feel,
Running away from the situation.
Taking care of ourselves when it's rough is switching this natural inclination of hate and hurt to instead love and care.
Taking care when it's rough means turning towards our pain.
Turning towards ourselves and loving ourselves even more.
More than we love that painful thing to go away.
We are the most important thing right now.
So right now,
As it feels rough,
Just stop.
Rest yourself on your seat.
Let your whole body weight just let it go and be supported by the chair,
By the floor,
By the ground,
And the big vast earth underneath you.
Soften and feel safe.
Unfurl your hands and invite them to open,
To be spacious,
To bring in the light.
Feel the light energy in the palms of your hands.
Your hands are healing.
They can help touch the world in a loving way.
Gently place a hand on your body in a nourishing and kind way.
Holding your own hand,
A hand on your heart,
Caressing your face.
I'm right here.
I love you.
It's all okay.
You are good.
You are beautiful.
I love you.
Share these messages with yourself,
Taking them in and feeling their nourishment.
Be here with yourself in this beautiful moment and let the challenge pass.
Don't hold on to what's rough and tough.
Simply be right here with the light of your love,
Of yourself.
Settle in with the sense of calm connection.
Offer yourself these moments of embrace.
It's okay not to have everything be okay all the time,
But just know that you are okay.
The heart and the strength that you bring to yourself in moments of difficulty,
When things are rough,
Offer you a deep sense of nourishment to keep you grounded,
To keep you connected to your essence of goodness,
Of light,
And love.
Many blessings to you.
