When we walk and gently bring our full selves to here and now, the healing and nourishing elements of the Earth have an opportunity to be felt deep within. In each step, the miracle of our life and our presence arrives. Meant to be an opening invitation, feel free to continue your walking long after the guided recording.

Smiling to our body,

We stand for walking meditation,

Noticing our posture,

Coming upright,

Noticing our feet,

Our feet on the floor,

Our feet connecting down towards the earth.

And as we stand before we walk,

We allow our body to relax,

To feel more fully present,

To allow ourselves to be present.

Bringing the breath in,

Noticing the breath moving through the whole body,

Opening space,

Creating presence to be right here.

And as we begin to walk,

We walk slowly.

We take a step,

Noticing the step.

As we take another step,

We notice taking another step.

With each step,

We simply arrive into the present moment.

Each step is complete.

As you walk,

Notice yourself walking.

Notice how the foot connects to the earth,

Even if the earth is through flooring.

The energy of our feet and our presence moves all the way down into the earth.

We can feel supported,

Receiving the support of the earth as we walk.

And as we walk on the earth,

We can imagine that we're caressing the earth,

We're thanking her,

We're present to her.

As we walk,

We can simply allow any burdens,

Any heaviness to slowly drift away.

The earth magically receives all of our burdens,

All of our heaviness.

And as we walk,

We smile,

We smile to ourselves,

We smile to the earth,

Feeling that connection,

That life force,

The presence of being right here.

There is nothing else.

There's no rushing.

With each step,

We take a breath.

With each breath,

We take a step.

Nowhere to go,

Only to be right here,

Connecting to the healing energies of walking in this way,

Of coming back to ourselves,

Coming back to our connection to the earth.

And as we breathe,

We open.

As we place our foot,

We let go.

As we breathe,

We receive.

As we place our foot,

We offer grace.

So taking your time to continue this practice,

Walking in this way,

Offering yourself the beauty of doing it right now and also throughout your day,

Noticing the healing that comes into our heart and our body,

The healing that comes into our presence and with our connection to all of life.
