Sometimes our day can feel scattered as we are bombarded with the noise of our surroundings. Take a few minutes with me in this guided meditation to ground yourself, come back to center, and refocus on that which is most important to you. Connect with Mother Earth and move back into your true North.

Hi,

And thank you so much for joining me today.

Throughout the day,

It can be easy to become overwhelmed or distracted and need a chance to reground ourselves,

Come back to center,

And refocus.

The intention of this practice is to come back to a connected and centered space in which to continue our day.

I'll have you come into a seated or lying down position in which to reground and center yourself.

You move into this space,

This sacred place to spend time with yourself,

To focus,

Ground,

And reconnect with that which is important to you in this moment.

I'll have you begin by taking a deep breath in,

Inhaling the energy of Mother Earth up through your feet,

Your legs,

Your spine,

All the way to the top of your head,

And exhaling fully and deeply,

Moving that energy back down through your body,

Your legs,

Out your feet,

And again connecting with the energy of Mother Earth who is below you supporting you.

I'll have you do this practice one more time with your breath,

Inhaling the energy of the support of Mother Earth up through your feet,

Your legs,

Your back and spine,

All the way to the top of your head,

And as you exhale fully and deeply,

You feel your nervous system begin to slow and quiet,

Coming back to its center point,

And exhaling the energy back down into Mother Earth,

And now feeling all parts of your body begin to relax as you lean into the support of the earth below you,

Knowing that you are held,

And allowing her energy to support you in this time and place,

You connect with that center point,

Your heart,

Your North Star,

Guiding you back to who you are in this place,

Aligning you with that which is most important to you now.

This star,

This star within your heart,

Which connects to the North Star of the compass that guides you,

Helps you focus your intention and your course on all the things that matter in your life,

And allowing those things in this moment that are not important to fall away back down to Mother Earth,

Allowing them to leave your body so that you feel light and airy,

But grounded and connected to that which is most important to you.

And from this light,

Yet grounded place,

You breathe more deeply into your lungs,

And as your lungs expand with this energy of light,

It allows your mind to focus on the direction you now would like to take for the rest of the day.

May this focus for your day include that which uplifts your heart,

Whether these things be your responsibilities or joys or obligations,

That they are done with all of your heart,

And that through living in your heart,

You know that you can walk this path because you are fully supported not only by Mother Earth,

But by the direction that the star of your heart points you towards your true North.

Take a deep breath in,

And exhale.

There is no place more important than right now,

And your heart is grateful to be listened to and heard by you,

That you are a true,

Beautiful,

Shining star of light,

And all you do when carried with your heart will lead to beautiful,

New,

Vibrant spaces.

Take one more deep breath in,

And exhale.

For allowing us to spend this time together.

Let your day be focused and grounded,

Supported and loved,

And mostly that your heart moves with you into all of these spaces.
