Welcome to the Trust Your Truth Guided Meditation album.
This is the fourth meditation that goes with the fourth chapter and the fourth chakra.
Lead with your heart.
Lead with your heart.
This is the heart chakra.
This is the emotional power center and it's really through learning to ride the waves of our emotions and embrace our emotions and learn from their wisdom that we discover the truth of who we are.
And so we're going to be exploring the air element and the green heart center of feeling,
Feeling ourselves in order to heal.
So find your comfortable seated position,
Whatever that means for you today,
And we're going to begin by bringing one hand onto the chest and then the other hand on top of that hand.
So bringing the hands right onto the heart and if it's comfortable for you,
Go ahead and close your eyes.
Tune your awareness inward.
Especially when it comes to feeling our emotions,
Having the courage to feel ourselves and feel the truth of the emotion and the wisdom that it carries with it.
One of the bravest journeys is the journey inward.
And so I just want to take a moment to thank you,
To applaud you,
To congratulate you for your courage to feel and to listen to your own heart's wisdom.
So let's begin by taking a deep breath in to the hands and to the heart.
And exhale a sigh of relief.
Inhaling into the center of the chest.
And exhaling some relief,
Whatever that feels like for you.
Inhaling into the heart center.
And exhaling a sigh of relief.
Just sensing symbolically and actually that the arms are extensions of your heart.
They are how we give and receive,
Connect to,
Relate to,
Hug and exchange energy with others.
So notice if you can feel this heart energy circling and cycling back to yourself in a gesture of recharging,
Restoring,
Renewing and replenishing your own heart.
As the body inhales,
Feeling the chest rise upward and outward into the hands.
And as the body exhales,
Feeling the hands soften and melt into the chest in a gesture of sweet acknowledgement of compassion,
Of self-care.
So you're just honoring yourself.
Just taking a few more moments here to feel your own heart.
And feel whatever is arising or present for the heart right now.
And then slowly bringing the palms down to rest on the thighs or the knees.
Bringing the palms to face up if that's comfortable for you in a gesture of receptivity.
And we will repeat the mantra YAM together.
Y-A-M.
And it's almost like yum,
Yum.
And you can either listen to the vibration of me reciting this mantra or we can join together in sound.
Eight times.
So inhaling and feeling the vibration in the heart.
Yum,
Yum,
Yum,
Yum,
Yum,
Yum,
Yum,
Yum.
And just beginning to sense the breath,
The air that moves into the lungs and the air that leaves the body.
And sensing perhaps that your courage to breathe fully and deeply mirrors your courage to feel.
And so the inhale is an allowance,
A welcoming of the felt sense of the wisdom of the emotions.
And the exhale is the release,
The offering,
The willingness to let go.
And so each moment,
Each breath is a receiving,
An experiencing of the heart,
Followed by a releasing,
A letting go.
Inhaling for inspiration.
And exhaling for expiration,
Letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go.
Perhaps sensing that the lungs and the heart are like these lifelong cuddle buddies.
As the body inhales,
The lungs massage the cavern of the heart.
And as the body exhales,
The lungs release and there is a softening and a spaciousness in the body.
And visualizing and sensing that the heart is like a green pasture,
An open field with fresh,
Dewy blades of grass.
Sensing that the heart is this open field of grass,
That there is fresh life of spaciousness to run,
To explore,
To allow for whatever is ready to come to the surface,
To come up,
To play,
To experience,
To emerge.
And gently asking yourself,
What does the heart want me to know and remember right now?
What feeling or emotion or wisdom lies within the cavernous walls of the heart?
Just notice and listen to whatever bubbles up and emerges for you,
Welcoming anything that comes up.
What wisdom lies within the cavernous walls of the heart right now?
And gently beginning to wiggle the fingers,
Wiggle the toes,
Invite some movement back into the body.
And we'll inhale to reach the arms up overhead as if you're gathering energy from above you.
And then exhaling,
Bringing that energy right to the center of the chest.
Palms press,
Resting the thumbs on the sternum,
Lifting the sternum,
The heart up into the palms,
Into the thumbs,
Taking a deep inhale into the whole body.
And exhaling,
Bowing the head towards the heart,
Towards the wisdom and intelligence of the heart.
May the mind humbly bow to be a partner and a friend to the heart.
But ultimately,
May the heart lead us forward on our paths of soul evolution,
Of healing,
Of awakening and growth.
May we have the courage to listen to the wisdom of the heart and to take action in alignment with that wisdom and that truth that lies within the spacious,
Vast cavern of the heart space.
And taking a deep inhale,
Visualizing the color green moving into the center of the heart.
And exhaling,
Letting it all go.
And when you're ready,
Let the head come up,
Let the eyes flutter open,
Take in the light,
Notice what you see.
And welcome back.
Thank you so much.
