The Light We've Shared: A Letter From My Floor Lamp (A Poem)

While attending an artist residency in France, I participated in a workshop called "The Art and Philosophy of Home." The instructor invited us each to connect with an object that has been a part of our concept of home. I wrote this poem, "The Light We've Shared: A Letter From My Floor Lamp," as a homage to our time together across the continental United States.
