Welcome to this practice,

Embracing space.

Settle down in a position that you can be comfortable in.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in.

Let it go slowly,

Fully and completely.

Allowing all sounds around you to be there.

Accepting them just as they are.

Begin to visualize a vast open space around you that may look like a peaceful meadow,

A serene beach or an expansive sky.

Let the space represent the infinite capacity of your mind,

Body and spirit.

As we journey through life,

We encounter resistance,

Thoughts,

Emotions or physical sensations that feel tight,

Constricted or uncomfortable.

Acknowledge these without judgment.

Imagine these points of resistance as knots or tangles.

They don't need immediate solutions.

We don't need to like them.

But for this moment,

Simply observe and accept their presence.

As you inhale,

Imagine a gentle energy flowing through these knots.

And as you exhale,

Visualize them beginning to unravel.

With every exhale,

You are creating more space.

More space between the threads,

The tangles,

These knots.

Resistance is a natural part of the human experience.

When we meet it with acceptance and compassion,

We find an easier path through it.

Surrendering doesn't mean giving up.

It doesn't even mean you have to like it.

It's more about letting go of the need to control it.

So with every breath,

You are inviting space into your mind,

Your body,

Your spirit.

Space for peace.

Space for growth.

Space for all that you are and all that you are becoming.

With every breath,

Invite space into your mind,

Body and spirit.

Space for peace.

Space for growth.

Space for all that you are and all that you are becoming.

With this newfound space,

Think about the essence of who you are beneath all layers.

Deep within this expansive space lies your core,

Your true self,

Untouched by life's ups and downs.

This core space,

Eternal stillness.

A reservoir of calm and wisdom.

It's a place that has witnessed all your experiences,

Yet remains unchanged.

It's the part of you that is connected to everything else.

The universe's vast web.

Imagining this core emanating a soft,

Gentle light.

With every breath,

This light grows brighter and more vibrant.

Illuminating the space that you've created and pushing away the shadows of doubt and resistance.

Realize that at any moment in your life,

You can tap into this reservoir of wisdom and peace.

Challenges,

No matter how large,

Cannot dim this light.

For it is your innate essence.

They can just merely make us forget about it temporarily.

But it's always there.

Let's take a moment to silently express gratitude to ourselves for the journey.

For the courage to face resistance.

And for the wisdom to seek space.

Honor this light and the space you've created around it.

As we prepare to return from this meditation.

Set an intention to remember this space and light within you.

To call upon it when needed.

To guide you,

Comfort you,

And to remind you of your boundless inner strength.

Take a deep,

Enriching breath in.

Allowing yourself to feel rejuvenated and centered.

And as you exhale,

Begin to bring your awareness back to the room,

The sounds,

And the sensations around you.

When you're ready,

With a sense of renewed clarity and peace.

Allow your eyes to open.

Carrying this sense of space with you.

Thank you for being here.

I projected your advice on breathing gentle energy to loosen knots into the twists and knots in my neck and low back and it worked wonders to relax those centers of tension and control! Thanks for the miraculous guidance! What a great tool! Thank you, Donna

Fantastic meditation! Reminding me of the small space inside me that has not been touched by the outside world really just calmed and neutralized my mind. Thank you!
