Take a few moments to settle into your bed.

Change your pillows and your duvet and settle down into your body.

Ready to put down what was,

To just be in this moment.

This very moment.

To sense the contact of your bed and your night time environment.

To sense you in this moment.

Nothing to do now.

Just rest.

Go soften your eyes and let them feel heavy into the hammocks of the sockets and the muscles that support them.

Nothing to do now.

Just rest.

Observing without effort.

Just pure awareness.

Notice your spine and the position you choose to sleep.

Be aware of the weight of your body and then allow yourself to let go and surrender into your bed.

Nothing to do now.

Just rest.

Feel the warmth beneath you.

Let it penetrate through your skin.

Feel the warmth and comfort dance gently through you.

Putting everything to rest as it touches gently like a goodnight kiss.

Feel the acceptance of sleep.

Nothing to do now.

Just rest.

Take your focus onto your breath.

Can you feel its rhythm?

Can you notice the gentle rise on the inhalation?

Can you feel the gentle softening on exhalation?

Can you ride on the rhythm of your breath?

Across the council.

Nothing to do now.

Just rest.

Softly inviting the depth of sleep into your body,

Into your consciousness,

Allowing it to soften your thoughts,

The mind,

Your muscles,

Your nerves and allow the healing to begin.

Allow the rejuvenation of cells and tissues.

And all you need to do is rest.

Nothing to do now.

Just rest.

Your body with all its elite intelligence,

Your body with all its intelligence,

Your body with all its elite intelligence knows exactly what to do while you rest.

You can just let go and close your eyes and stay safe and warm.

Allowing rejuvenation,

Allowing the restoring of your cells.

Allowing you optimum health.

And recharging your energy while you sleep.

So there's nothing to do.

Nothing for you to worry about.

Just let go.

Just observe your breath.

Nothing to do.

Just rest.

Just take the heat.
