A mindful movement meditation practice to create a flow of energy into your body. A natural pick-me-up! Whether you are waking up or had a long period of being still, sat at a desk, and need to move and shift energy and wake your whole self up. Please only add the gentle bouncing if it resonates with you and stop if you need to. The shaking and bounce vibrates the tissues and cells and wakes the systems and helps the diaphragm. Enjoy

Transcript

Place one hand on your heart and one hand on your lower abdomen,

Standing.

Just take a moment right here.

Notice how you feel.

And as you breathe in,

Allow the belly and the heart to rise into your hands.

And as you exhale,

Just get a sense of softness.

Use your hands to hold you,

Support you.

And feel the warmth of your hands.

Take a breath in and lean forward into the front of your body.

Start to feel the hands move further away as you lift from your heart.

And as you exhale,

Just get a sense of softening and a little leaning back into the back body.

Breathe in,

Taking your energy towards your toes and growing into your hands.

Feel an expansion in the front.

And as you exhale,

Soften as you lean back into the back of the body.

Breathe in,

Lean into the front body.

Allow the belly to rise,

The heart to rise,

And your gaze slightly up.

And as you exhale again,

The softness into the back of your body.

Feel the support and the comfort from the back.

Allow your arms to hang and spiral those hands up,

Reaching the arms up to the sky,

Looking at the sky.

And then just soften by bringing it down,

Softening from the armpits,

The elbows,

The wrists,

And the hands,

And the fingers.

Feel connected down to the earth.

Draw the energy from the earth up through your fingers and spiral your arms up.

Look up,

Drawing the earth energy to the sky.

Draw the hands together and draw the sky and the earth energy into your heart.

Connect,

Absorb.

Feel this energy growing in your body.

Feel it pulse,

Feel it grow.

Feel the energy in abundance.

Allow your arms to hang by your side again,

Drawing the energy from the earth.

Spiral the arms up,

Looking up,

Raise your heart to the sky,

Your gaze to the sky,

And draw down the sky and into your heart.

Feel yourself as one,

Earth and sky and heart.

And you,

Feel yourself grow.

Feel this energy in abundance,

Feel it pulse,

Feel it expansive.

Again taking the hands down to the floor,

Drawing and connecting the support and the love and the energy of the earth up into the sky.

Raise your heart,

Raise your eyes,

Look.

And draw the energy from the sky back down to your heart.

Again,

Feel it,

Really feel it,

Feel it grow,

Feel it expand.

Feel the energy,

Really feel your whole body.

Wrap your hands around the back of your shoulders,

Giving yourself a giant hug and gently just rocking side to side.

Take a breath in and a sigh out.

And then rest your arms back down by your sides.

Have a little bounce onto your feet,

Just a little up and down bouncing of the softness of your joints,

Softness of the knees,

Softness of the shoulders and the arms.

A gentle interplay of bouncing.

Feel the softness in your tissues.

Feel the diaphragm bouncing like a trampoline and allow some vocal expression.

Whatever the sound,

It is a sound,

That's all it is,

A sound.

Let it come out and notice where is the depth of that sound from.

Is the depth of it from your pelvis?

Is it from your heart?

Is it from your throat?

Is it from your head?

Allow the sound out,

Just notice what does it sound like?

What are the tones?

Let it out and feel it with the bounce.

Feel the vibrations.

And then from there,

Allow the arms again just to hang and have a little shake of the body,

A little gentle shake.

Again allowing vocal expression.

Shake out your arms,

Shake out your legs,

Waking up every cell,

Every tissue,

Every receptor in the body.

Stand with the legs slightly wider,

Raise your arms up in the air,

Lift your heart and feel the strength of your body,

Feel the energy you've now created.

Now know that you can continue the rest of your day in energy in abundance.
