Welcome,
Beloved.
Ah,
Let's take a breath together.
Inhale.
Exhale.
This is a meditation for the heart.
A time to rest,
To nourish,
To welcome love.
I invite you to find a comfortable seated position.
Feel your lower body becoming heavier,
Like it's sinking down into the earth.
Imagine roots of golden light moving down from the base of your spine all the way into the crystalline core of Mother Earth.
Feel the crown of the head lifting your spine up toward the sky.
Your shoulders relax back and down.
Feel a slight space between the teeth.
The jaw softens.
Throat opens.
Your heart maybe even starts to soften.
Take a slow deep breath in.
Imagine,
Feel a beautiful light from above your head pouring down into your heart.
Exhale,
This light moves from your heart into your whole body.
Inhale,
This light cascades into your heart.
Exhale,
It moves out into every cell,
Every fiber of your being.
Feel yourself settling.
Tension releases with each relaxed breath.
There is nothing to do.
Every part of you is welcome in this space.
As women,
We all walk different paths,
Yet we are always connected by our experiences,
Our deepest heart's longings,
The known and unknown struggles and dreams that we share as women.
The tears we cry in the darkness and the tears we cry in joy are the beauty of being a woman.
And we need each other.
Women are sacred.
Women are wise.
Women are sensitive and intuitive.
Women are powerful.
Women are strong and fierce protectors.
Women are sacred storytellers.
Women are the guardians of life.
Imagine a woman standing alone.
Now imagine there is a woman beside her holding her hand and now another woman on the other side of her holding her other hand.
How much stronger is she holding the hands of her sisters?
When her heart is breaking,
They hold her close.
When she is feeling rooted and strong,
She holds her sisters up.
Imagine yourself standing on soft green grass,
Surrounded by the beauty of nature,
Held by the love and power of Mother Earth.
What do you see around you in this peaceful place?
Is the sun shining?
Is the moon glowing in the night sky?
Start to see all of the women who you care for deeply standing in a circle with you.
They could be women you are close with or women you have never met,
Mothers,
Sisters,
Friends,
Aunties,
Elders,
Mentors.
See in their faces the joys and pains,
The beauty of love,
Tenderness,
Wisdom,
And time.
If you can't think of anyone to stand with you in this circle,
I invite you to imagine the women you are ready to welcome into your life,
The kind of friendships and sisterhood your heart desires to share.
Feel your gratitude for these women and feel their gratitude for you.
See yourself through their eyes and all that they appreciate and love about you.
Imagine every woman in the circle now holding each other's hands.
Feel the love and tenderness in their touch.
Feel the power of all being together,
The gift of sisterhood.
See,
Feel how together you are stronger.
Together your love is bigger and brighter.
Together you can face the challenges of life and know you are loved.
You are supported.
You are cared for.
If there is anything you are needing in this moment,
Support,
Acknowledgement,
Someone to listen or to offer guidance,
You can use the power of this sisterhood now.
Allow your heart to crack open.
Ask for guidance.
Open your mind as you receive whatever you are needing in this space.
This is also a time to call upon your own wisdom,
Care and mastery as you are a pillar of this sisterhood.
Beautiful.
Look around the circle again.
How does it feel to be seen,
To be held,
To be reminded of your power,
Beauty and grace?
As you cultivate sisterhood in your relationships,
You can always return to this sacred space in your heart to receive wisdom and guidance.
Become aware of the space around you.
Sense your body breathing.
Start to deepen the breath as you slowly move the body,
Welcoming the gifts of love,
Tenderness,
Courage,
Strength from this experience.
When you are ready,
Slowly open the eyes.
You may even wish to practice seeing through the eyes of the heart.
Deep,
Authentic sisterhood is a safe haven to share both the light and the dark experiences of our journey.
Our sisters are our mirrors.
We can learn to more deeply love and accept ourselves through their loving eyes and more easily open ourselves to see where we have room to grow.
In sisterhood,
There is a give and a take.
Like the circle of life,
We share the richness of this messy,
Beautiful human experience together.
If you're ready for deeper sisterhood,
I invite you to take time to tend to your own heart and open yourself to connection.
Sometimes our sisters show up in places and even people we never imagined.
Thank you for joining me for this journey.
All my love.
