Warm welcome everyone.

For anyone who is here for the first time,

My name is Celina Lael.

I'm a yoga and meditation instructor,

A transformational coach,

And an awakened life teacher.

We are going to move into a powerful practice to really consciously create our lives.

Hi Anna,

Thank you Zis.

Hi Jamie,

Welcome.

So conscious creation.

What do I mean by this conscious creation?

If we were to really look at our lives,

Most human beings live life somewhat randomly.

Maybe we have a job or we have a family or we have responsibilities that we tend to.

But outside of these kind of general commitments in our lives,

We are just letting life happen.

Oh yeah,

Maybe if I'm lucky something good will happen today.

Oh yeah,

Maybe it'll be an okay day.

We kind of are always selling ourselves short and waiting for life to happen.

That's why we sometimes hear this teaching that we often wait for.

We think that life is happening to us.

Yes,

We have this experience of life happening to us,

Not realizing our own creative power.

Now for anyone who is new to my style,

I love to blend the depth of spirituality and these ancient wisdom teachings with a greater understanding of what's actually happening in the physiology,

Meaning neuroscience,

Working with the brain,

Working with the patterns and the habits that we unconsciously live inside of or consciously.

So many of us live our lives randomly.

Again,

Even if we have structure and certain commitments that we uphold,

All of that space in between,

We feel like we're leaving up to chance.

I hope something good will happen.

I hope something will work out.

Some of us don't even hope,

Right?

Some of us have felt so disappointed or hurt in our lives that we stop hoping.

We tend towards skepticism,

Pessimism,

Or altogether living in such a state of defeat and doubt that we stop dreaming.

And I know this sounds a little doom and gloom right now,

But my intention is to really create a space for some honest inquiry within ourselves.

Where are you living your life randomly?

Are you spending each moment of your day consciously creating,

This is going to be my best day.

I intend this to happen.

I intend to feel this way.

I intend to have this kind of success.

I intend to to feel alive in my body.

How many of us actually live like this?

Not very many.

What I can share with you is that in general,

In general,

Not all,

In general,

The most successful people in the world do not live their lives randomly.

I'm not just speaking about monetary success either.

There are many ways that we can be successful.

The most successful people in material wealth and otherwise in our world do not live their lives randomly.

So let's just take a breath.

I know this is a lot of information.

Let's just take a breath together.

What I've learned within my own self is that there are times when I might feel really passionate about something.

There are times when I might feel really inspired.

Wow,

I really want to do this.

I really want to be part of this.

Or I'd love to create something like that in my life or for the world.

And then I feel a sense of doubt,

Defeat.

I don't know how to create what I want.

I think that it's probably not possible.

I tend towards some kind of pessimism or skepticism.

And rather than taking baby step by baby step,

Small step after small step,

To bring that passionate idea or inspiration to fruition,

To manifestation,

Rather than continuing to take steps towards that creation,

I give up.

I don't know how this is gonna work.

I don't have as much energy as this is gonna take.

I don't know where to begin.

This is going to take too long.

I don't have what I need.

I don't have the people behind me that I need to bring this vision or this goal or this dream to life.

And so we give up.

Not realizing,

Not realizing that it is our continued action and thinking towards that desire,

That goal,

That vision that ultimately brings it to life.

My beloved teacher Saima,

And Ma has said for many years,

We have a spiritual community and it's a global community.

People from all over the planet,

Different religions,

Different walks of life.

And Ma has said,

I'm paraphrasing here,

But Ma has said something along the lines of,

You need to stop this habit of needing instant gratification.

You need to release this habit of needing instant gratification.

And Ma has said,

Especially Americans.

And I'm American,

So I get it.

I get it.

If we don't see an immediate result,

If we don't see an immediate sign that says we're on the right path or it's working,

We fall into those thoughts and feelings of doubt,

Pessimism,

And feeling like something isn't possible.

We give up on our dreams.

We give up on our goals.

We give up on our visions and we live a life that is unfulfilled.

And I'm not saying you have to have some huge manifested dream to live a fulfilled life.

I'm saying that when we stop dreaming,

When we stop being open to the fullest expression of our life,

We're usually settling.

When we give up on ourselves,

That is when we have that experience of settling.

And each of us has different dreams,

Yes?

Maybe someone's vision for their life,

The most beautiful,

Rich,

Fulfilled life,

Is to have a beautiful family,

To be in a beautiful romantic relationship and have children.

And this is like the most beautiful vision that they could possibly imagine.

And someone else's vision is to be able to climb all of the tallest mountains in the world.

And then someone else's vision is to create some amazing company that feeds all of the starving people on the planet.

Not one is better than the other.

We all dream differently.

That's part of the beauty of this world.

Our dreams coming to life is what this whole world is made of.

Your phone in front of you,

Your tablet,

Your computer,

Somebody used their imagination,

Their intention,

Their perseverance to create this device.

Many someones,

As a matter of fact.

The home that you're in,

The apartment,

The house,

Someone imagined this in their mind and was so committed to it that now you see it around you.

You're inside of it.

The human imagination and our dedication and commitment to ourselves is where so much of what we see and know in this world has come from.

So let's just take another breath.

What are you feeling right now?

Are you feeling a sense of maybe inner self-inquiry?

Wow,

Where have I been living randomly?

Where have I been selling myself short?

Are you feeling maybe a little inspired?

Are you remembering some of your dreams or your visions right now?

Curious and excited,

Enthusiastic,

Yes.

Awesome.

Awesome.

We don't fail because something doesn't work out.

Failure is giving up and I've heard this quote from different teachers over the years and it's never been more clear to me than it is now.

Failure is not when something doesn't work out.

Failure is when we give up.

One of the kind of founding fathers of the teaching and study of emotional intelligence as we know it today,

Daniel Goleman,

I think he wrote the first book on emotional intelligence.

He said something along the lines of,

None of us know enough to be pessimistic.

None of us know enough to be pessimistic.

Meaning this world and the possibilities in this world are so vast that we have no idea what is actually possible.

What we know is how much we're willing to apply ourselves or not and for many of us we're not really willing to give very much.

And I'll say these last couple of things before we move into our practice.

Why is that?

If I want more for my life,

If I desire more for my life,

Why am I willing to give so little to having what I want?

And I'll give you one answer.

I'm not saying there's only one.

I'll give you one answer.

It's called familiarity.

Familiararity.

This survival brain that that's main functioning is our survival,

Resists what is unfamiliar.

This brain that is rooted in survival,

Resists what is unfamiliar.

And what do you think your grandest dreams of your life are to your brain?

They're unfamiliar.

It's very likely that if you imagine having a million dollars and that's your vision for yourself,

It's very likely you don't have a million dollars.

Having that much money is unfamiliar.

If your vision is to have like the sexiest,

Amazing,

Fast car,

It's likely that you don't have the sexiest,

Amazing,

Fastest car.

It is unfamiliar.

If you desire the most peaceful,

Harmonious,

Beautiful relationship,

It is very possible and likely probable that you are not in that relationship.

It is unfamiliar.

We might have all of these ideas and justifications for why we don't have what we want,

But I would love to venture to say that it is because unfamiliar is scary.

The unknown is scary.

Even if you are a thrill seeker,

A daredevil,

An adventure enthusiast,

There is still this fear of the unknown.

Those of us who love adventure and kind of thrill-seeking,

It's not that we're not afraid of the unknown,

And I can't speak for everyone because we have different brains,

Yes,

And different brain chemistry,

But for most of us it's because it feels better to throw ourselves into the fear than it does to wait on the sidelines feeling it all the time.

It is unfamiliarity.

It is the fear of the unknown that stops us from dreaming big and taking actions.

It is this unconscious mechanism within the brain and within the mind that says,

Stay with what you know.

Stay with what you know.

So take a breath.

Let's just take a breath.

Notice what's waking up in your mind right now,

In your body,

In your heart,

And for the sake of our experience together today,

For the sake of our practice,

I invite you to play with just an idea here.

I'm not saying this is the way it is.

If you were willing to face the unknown head-on,

What would you be willing to give towards your dreams?

If you had everything you needed,

What would you be willing to give to bring your vision for your life,

For the world,

To fruition?

Let's move the body a little.

We're going to move into our practice now.

So just move your body,

And of course if you can't move your body,

You can just start to deepen the breath.

So move the body,

And then find stillness.

I invite you to be seated for this practice.

Close the eyes if they are not already.

Roll the shoulders up and back a couple of times.

Relax them down.

Feel the space across the chest,

The heart open,

The chest and the belly filling with breath,

Creating more space within.

Deepen the breath.

This breath is so intimately connected to our life.

Breathe this breath.

Relax the face.

Allow there to be a space between the teeth and the lips.

Create this receptivity in your mouth,

Your jaw,

Your throat.

Feel the space of the heart softening.

And know that whatever you feel in this moment is okay.

Feel the shoulders relax down and the sense of ease start to wash down through the arms and the hands.

This relaxation washes down through the neck,

The chest,

Belly,

The back.

The whole torso relaxes,

The weight of the body sinking into the seat beneath you.

The hips,

Glutes,

Pelvis all sinking down.

This ease washes down through the legs.

All the way into the soles of the feet.

Feel yourself here in this moment,

This exquisite moment that will never happen again.

Breathe more deeply and start to follow your breath inside as if you were moving deep within yourself.

As you look inside,

Imagine you see a staircase.

You're standing on the top step.

You feel supported in this place within you.

You take a step down to the sixth step.

The body relaxes even more.

Your mind is even more present.

You step onto the fifth step.

As you feel any concerns starting to wash away,

You are supported in this space within.

You step onto the fourth step and you begin to feel a sense of warmth inside knowing that you are moving closer and closer to some wonderful space within yourself.

Third step,

This warmth growing through your whole body,

Expanding.

You step onto the second step,

Starting to feel lighter,

Even more present within yourself.

You step onto the first step,

A space that feels like home within you.

This warmth and comfort deep within,

I belong.

I am here.

Start to sense that from this depth within you that you have everything you need.

Every quality that you wish to experience in your life is right here in this place.

Confidence and courage,

Passion,

Joy,

Imagination,

Perseverance,

Forgiveness,

Compassion,

Love are all in this sacred space within you.

Take a breath and feel the presence of your own wholeness,

Your own wisdom.

And now imagine all of these qualities,

These high vibrational qualities,

These empowered loving qualities that you have within you.

Imagine that they mold into a version of you standing across from you.

See or imagine that there is this you that looks just like you standing across from you that is a total embodiment of these qualities.

Joy,

Peace,

Passion,

Courage,

Vision.

This version of you that knows exactly what you need right now and in every moment.

And now imagine,

Feel in your body or see in your mind's eye what it would be like to wake up as this version of you.

What would it be like to wake up in the morning with a mind full of gratitude,

A heart full of love and joy,

With energy and passion and kindness.

What would it be like to wake up and start to move into your morning routine?

See it in your mind,

Feel it in your body.

What would it be like to move into your day knowing that anything is possible from this place within you,

That you are so powerful.

What would it be like to know without a doubt that you are powerful beyond your imagination?

How would you engage with the people in your home?

How would your relationships with others be if you were feeling this full and alive?

What would it be like to engage with your job,

With your career,

Just feeling so good within you,

So open and excited about life?

What would that look like?

What would that feel like?

How fulfilled would you feel at the end of the day if you lived your life so fully,

So alive from this place within you?

How amazing would it feel in your body?

How would your mind be if you were feeling this good and connected and confident and loving within yourself?

Take a breath.

Create more space within you to welcome more of this fullness.

Open the chest.

Sit tall.

Welcome this aliveness.

If you knew so completely that you have the power to create the life you choose,

What would your intention be for tomorrow once you awake?

Would your intention be to have harmonious interactions with your family or co-workers?

Would your intention be to feel inspired,

To take really good care of your body,

To play?

What would your intention be?

And then start to see that in your mind and feel it in your body.

What does your intention for your day tomorrow look like when it is fulfilled?

Go beyond any doubts.

Build your vision,

Your feelings,

Your dream for this tomorrow intention.

And I invite you to choose something that is part of your current reality,

Meaning something that you know is part of your day tomorrow.

And now maybe part of your vision is that something wonderful and unexpected happens.

If something wonderful and unexpected were to happen tomorrow,

How good would you feel?

Imagine yourself in that moment of joyful surprise.

What would that feel like?

What would you be doing in that moment?

Would you be smiling,

Jumping,

Yelling?

Let us go even further,

Completely leaving any doubting thoughts,

Completely leaving them behind.

Go for the highest.

What do you choose?

What do you choose to envision for your month ahead?

Choose one specific vision that you would like to experience or see come to fruition and imagine it in your mind.

Think of it as if it is already happening,

As if it has already happened.

Be in your mind and in your feelings as if it is inevitable.

And use your power,

Use these feelings,

This inner wisdom,

This inner knowingness to create this for you.

Go beyond the thoughts that say,

I don't know or I can't see.

Go beyond it.

Breathe.

Use your breath to enliven this energy.

You're transforming your brain right now.

You are planting seeds in the subconscious mind that says,

Yes,

I am open to something more.

I am choosing to leave behind familiarity for the possibility of a life I've dreamed of.

And one more vision for your life,

One more future memory.

What is something that you are consciously creating right now that you are saying,

Yes,

This is so.

I claim it.

I choose it.

I affirm it to be in my life or as my life.

One more future memory.

Maybe it is to be in fantastic health or to see a project completed or maybe you see yourself taking an action step towards one of your dreams.

See this future memory in detail,

The colors,

The smells.

What do you hear around you?

What do you see?

Who is with you?

Where are you?

And how amazing do you feel in this future memory,

Claiming it for your life?

And again,

Use the breath.

Use the breath.

Gently begin to guide your awareness back to this vision of you standing across from you,

This version of you that is an embodiment of every quality you wish to experience.

See the aliveness,

The light,

The glow,

The love,

The courage,

The passion,

The vitality in this version of you standing across from you.

See it in your mind's eye.

Use the power of your vision or your thoughts,

Your feelings,

And imagine or feel this version of you walking towards you and then merging with the you in this moment,

Becoming one.

You are this embodiment of your dreams coming true.

You are this embodiment of the fullness of life right now.

You are this embodiment of saying,

Yes,

I am open to something more than what I have known.

Yes to life.

And thank yourself.

Be grateful to you.

Maybe even place your palms over your heart.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you for reminding me of who I am.

Thank you for reminding me of my imagination,

Of my courage,

Of my heart,

Of my dreams.

Thank you,

Beloved self,

For being here with me always.

Thank you.

Be so grateful to you in this moment for the courage it takes to dream.

What are you willing to say yes to right now in this moment?

Remember,

It takes being willing to try something new to create something new.

What are you willing to say yes to,

To commit to within yourself to experience the life that you consciously create?

Inhale.

If your body can move,

Reach the arms up to the sky.

Open your arms.

Open your palms like a chalice.

Breathe deeply into the heart,

The throat,

The brain,

The belly.

Yes.

Yes,

I am ready for something more.

Yes,

I am willing.

I'm willing to take actions even if I feel afraid.

I'm willing to be more kind with myself.

I'm willing to be open to life.

Open yourself.

Lift the corners of your mouth.

Send these messages to your brain that it's okay to feel good.

Welcome this.

From this space,

Slowly open the eyes and see the world through the eyes of this self that says yes.

Yes.

Yes,

I am powerful.

I may not have all the answers,

But I can take actions.

I may not know how to do everything,

But I can say yes and be open and I can consciously choose what I create.

It is possible for my dreams to unfold in this life.

It is possible.

I'm willing to believe that.

I'm willing to have faith in myself.

I'm willing to have faith in myself.

Welcome that.

I am willing.

I am saying yes.

Yes,

To my best life.

What a perception shift.

What a consideration.

We always feel like we're in the wrong place,

Most often for many of us,

Don't we?

I'm not where I'm supposed to be.

I don't know enough.

I don't have enough.

I don't have the right things.

I'm not emotionally where I should be.

I'm not spiritually where I should be.

I'm not educated enough.

Someday.

But what if right now where you are is not only exactly where you're meant to be on your path,

But you're even ahead of schedule,

Meaning you are making leaps and bounds and progress that is bringing you closer and closer to that which you are wanting truly,

Even more than your mind can comprehend.

What are you grateful for?

Something I'd like to reiterate.

This practice and similar practices are not just a way to feel a little better.

They're not self-soothing practices,

Although they can be used for them.

The practice that we just engaged in can literally shift the old stories,

Beliefs,

Patterns that are in the subconscious mind.

The story that says life is hard.

I don't have what I need.

I'll never get to where I want to be.

Bad things always happen to me.

Those stories and beliefs that we live with unconsciously,

Doesn't mean we don't think them at all,

But they're stored in the subconscious mind and so the brain is always finding something to show us that that's true.

This practice can plant new seeds in the subconscious mind.

This practice can literally change what is happening in your brain.

Many of you have heard me speak to this often.

I'll just give a brief repeat of this teaching for anyone who's newer to the understanding and the correlation between many visualization and meditation practices in neuroscience.

There's a part of the brain that acts as a filter.

It doesn't discern between good and bad the way we think of it.

Its job is to filter in the information that our brain deems as important and in this context the brain deems important what we believe.

So let's say that I grew up in a household where I was either directly told you're worthless or maybe my parents not giving me a lot of attention made me kind of think that about myself.

I'm not worthy.

I'm no good.

If I have that belief and I hold that belief in the mind the brain deems that belief to be true because that's how I receive it perceive it and it deems it to be important.

So there's a part of the brain that will not only filter in what it deems as important important meaning affirming the beliefs we hold.

I don't know why I did quotes there.

I don't think that was accurate.

Not only does it filter in the information that shows me my belief is true it will literally filter out meaning it won't let me see contrary evidence in the world around me.

So again this example if I have this belief that I'm unworthy that I'm no good that I can never be good enough right it doesn't mean it's true even if my parents told me even if that's how I interpreted my environment it's not true it's a belief inside of the word belief is the word lie.

Belief lie.

Just because I believe something does not mean it's true.

So I carry this belief that I'm unworthy that I'm not good enough and the brain will literally show me evidence in the world around me to support this belief.

Again the brain doesn't discern between good or bad it says hey that's important we better only take in the information around her that shows her it's true and that means that if somebody comes to me or if there's something in my environment that shows me how how worthy I am how lovable I am how how how good I am whatever it is this part of the brain will help to make sure that I can't see that that I can't process that information.

Is this is this clear what I'm saying here?

This also means that when we transform these belief systems when we implement new beliefs when we plant new seeds and ways of being in the subconscious and create new pathways in the brain of ways of being the more that I anchor and solidify strengthen these new beliefs that say I'm freaking awesome I can do anything I'm so capable I'm beautiful I'm amazing the more that I actually use practices the more that I use practices that can actually change my brain the more the brain will then filter in the evidence around me that proves to me it is true and the more it will start to filter out so I don't notice contrary to that what is contrary to that so you are so powerful it is not just a nice thing I'm saying to you no matter how weak or depressed or helpless you might feel you are so powerful and so much of this power is in the beauty of your exquisite mind and learning how to train the mind and train the brain to work for you we haven't been trained to have the mind work for us we've been trained that this is how life is you are so powerful you can create glorious visions for your life and for the world and I'm not saying that it just takes a few positive affirmations and your life will not just change no it takes dedication it takes discipline because again we're changing something that has been in place for a long time yes the beliefs that we carry we've been carrying for a long time so it takes time to really integrate and anchor and strengthen new ways of being don't give up don't give up on yourself you're worth it you're worth it and and more than worth it I can be safe and fully alive without limitations love your mind yes beautiful Jane and don't give up that's what I would say my loves because I'm here not as someone who's perfect what I'm here as is someone who's been so freaking dedicated to the work and fallen down so many times that I can share all of the teachings that have been shared with me or that I've been living through or that I continue to live in my life I'm continuously growing and learning and expanding and falling down or feeling like I'm falling down yes don't give up on you don't give up on you if it's not easy keep going if you don't know what to do keep going find your support system of people who are really uplifting and are willing to be honest with you and who who are committed to their own growth find teachers inspirational people who can serve you on your path don't give up on you it's so easy to give up when we feel like we don't know or when it's tough keep going keep going you've got this you've got this there's so many times that I have wanted to give up and in on so many things in my life there's so many times I've just felt defeated I just keep moving forward and there's more grace and more prosperity and more abundance and more awakening that's kind of a funny way to say it but there's just this grandness of the expansion of the mind and the welcoming and embodiment of the self the soul that just continues to deepen and enrich every aspect of my life and this is available for each of us we are one we are one consciousness a drop in the ocean I believe in you and say this to yourself every day I believe in you I believe in you say it until you believe it with every fiber of your being I believe I love you so I love you I cherish you you are so precious to me so precious to my heart and you are such a gift to the planet you are such a gift you have such grace such a beauty in your heart and your mind bless you I love you so
