Healthy sleeping habits are paramount to one’s physical health, mental health, & overall well-being. As a result, one of the greatest acts of self-care one can practice is getting a good night’s sleep. A great way to achieve this is to meditate on some words of affirmation centered on sleep. Let this meditation carry you to a place of restful sleep tonight & every night. You deserve it!

Good evening,

My friends.

Tonight's meditation is one of affirmations to support us in easily,

Naturally drifting off to sleep.

To begin,

I invite you to close your eyes and get comfortable.

Notice that with the simple act of closing your eyes,

Your mind naturally gets quieter.

Also notice that by finding a comfortable position,

Either sitting down or laying in your bed,

Your body naturally relaxes,

Especially when your eyes are closed.

Take a few deep breaths,

Adopt an attitude of gratitude and non-judgment,

And embrace a heart and mindset of peace and loving-kindness.

As you continue to breathe slowly,

Deeply,

Notice your whole self becoming more and more calm and still with each breath.

And as you become ever more relaxed,

I invite you to repeat these words of affirmation silently in your head and heart.

Sleep is easy and natural.

Sleep comes easily and naturally for me.

I deserve a good night's sleep.

Tonight I will get a good night's sleep.

Rest and sleep are important.

I deserve a good night's sleep.

Good night my friends,

And thank you for meditating with me tonight.

As you drift off to a much deserved sleep,

May grace and peace,

Light and love be with you.
