This non-sleep deep rest experience is meant to be practiced any time your feel in need of rest, regeneration, or a reset. Instead of applying focus attention, or sitting up straight, allow yourself to listen in a very loose and free way. Give your mind permission to wander amidst the words and sounds without judgement or critique. Sink down and then rise back up, rested and ready for what is to come.

Find rest.

Your only instruction is to lie down and make yourself comfortable.

If you find you are challenged with a busy mind,

Spend a few moments now resting your relaxed attention on your exhalations.

For the remainder of our time together,

There is nothing else you have to do.

Do nothing.

Still.

Open.

Expanded.

Breathing.

Hear the water.

The sounds of the deep blue ocean.

Float in space.

Deep rest comes naturally.

Breathe with the waves.

The sounds come and go.

Come and go.

Sink below the surface.

A body of light.

Vibrant.

Clear.

White light.

Past the world of form.

Beyond the world of sight.

Below the world of sound.

Drop into directionlessness.

Formlessness.

Thoughtlessness.

Experiencelessness.

A body of light.

Pure.

White.

Peaceful light.

Merge into space.

Thoughts and emotions.

Swell and recede.

Swell and recede.

Coming and going.

Coming and going.

Sink further.

Deep.

Light.

Empty.

Beyond nothing.

Drop further and further into yourself.

Warm.

Relaxed.

Restful.

There is no letting go.

There is nothing to hold onto.

A body of light.

Luminous space.

Merge into the beyond.

Where deep rest lives.

Sink.

Float.

Release.

Peaceful.

Spacious.

Love.

Joyful.

Grateful.

Acceptance.

Kind.

Compassionate.

Connection.

Expand.

Be free.

Innate wisdom lives here.

The home of clarity and light.

There is no need to let go.

There is nothing to hold onto.

Rest.
