Welcome,
Friends.
Are you ready for another journey with Authoring Hope?
I hope so.
This morning we journey with a short meditation and just three gentle prompts to inspire our day and begin the journey ahead.
So give yourself a moment to gather your pen and paper.
And when you feel ready.
Just come to an easy seated position,
Whether that's in bed with a cup of tea or whatever restful place feels comfortable for you.
I invite you,
As always,
To close the eyes if you wish,
Or you can just let the gaze be soft.
As I settle and breathe,
I often like to place a hand upon my heart or belly.
You are welcome to do the same.
As we feel the breath.
Rise and fall.
As we settle into our breath.
As a new day lays before us.
Allowing yourself to arrive here in this moment.
Easeful inhale.
Easeful exhale.
Letting eat.
Inhale breath,
Breathing in,
Out.
Possibility,
One of my favorite words.
Drawing in of a little clarity as we begin to wait.
Into our morning.
Perhaps a drawing in of a sense of purpose or hope.
And with every exhale we can let go.
Of anything we'd like to release in this moment.
Anything you'd like to let go of.
Anything you like.
To release.
Letting the breath rise and fall.
The day ahead is as yet unwritten.
It holds within its space and time just you.
And with no rush.
As we gently unravel,
You can roll the shoulders or take a wiggle.
And we're going to take up our pen and paper.
And I will offer you three prompts.
The first.
What is one intention?
That would make today feel meaningful.
What is one intention that would make today feel meaningful?
Give you a quiet minute to write with that prompt.
What is one intention that would make today feel meaningful?
Prompt number two.
Where do I want to show up with more presence?
Where do I want to show up?
With more presence.
That can be for yourself.
Or others.
For a project or an adventure.
Where do I want to show up with more presence?
Again,
I'll give you a quiet minute to write with that.
And our third and final prompt.
What small act of hope.
And I do for myself.
Or someone else.
What small act of hope.
What can I do?
For myself.
Or someone else.
A quiet minute.
As always,
If you feel inspired to continue writing or you find yourself in flow,
Don't let me interrupt you.
But just perhaps,
If you like,
Inspired by our three prompts.
If you would like,
Choose a word for the day.
Feel free.
To write that down.
It could be hope.
Possibility.
Or spacious or enough.
Whatever comes to mind if you wish.
When you feel ready you can place down your notebook and pen and we'll just start.
Take a gentle closing meditation.
As we maybe close our eyes or let the gaze be soft.
Again.
We feel the breath,
The rhythm within us.
As we begin again on a brand new morning.
May this day unfold for us.
Gently.
May we hold on to some of our intentions or our words written this morning.
And may we all carry a little hope.
Into the day ahead.
When you feel ready,
We can roll the shoulders,
We can take a little wiggle.
We can gently open the eyes and just as I like to do to bring us to a close,
Let's take a nice deep inhale.
We're going to reach high to the sky,
Up to the sunshine.
Beautiful deep inhale and we're going to exhale.
Let the hands fall away and I welcome you to.
Day that I hope is filled with hope.
Beautiful intention.
And a little joy and light.
Thank you so much for joining me today in this short and sweet authoring hope.
Welcome to join me for the evening version as well as we wind down from our day.
And as always,
The live sessions of Authoring Hope come around at the beginning of each and every month.
And it's a lovely way to come into community here and gather on Insight Time.
So thank you,
My darlings.
Thank you for journeying with me.
I look forward to joining you again soon.
Farewell for now.
