It's kind of crazy, at any given moment, there are these two parts of me. One that is actively trying to "be with what is" and another that is trying to avoid feeling things by pulling me up into my head, distracting myself or keeping me busy. This meditation helps support the part that is welcoming everything. As I have more and more moments of "being with what is" I integrate an embodied knowing and remembering that it's actually quite okay to be with what is, regardless of what flavor or tone it might have.
